I am glad someone has pointed this out. I ahve been talking to people about this for some time now. The funny thing is to really watch McCain after he gives a comment that he deems to be witty, smart, effective. Whatever you want to call it. The next time he says something that causes his audience to applaud, or even if he says something he thinks is good, watch this same creepy laugh, smile splash upon his face. That's his "See, I am clever to" moment.
