I've met people who were healed by Harry Edwards, etc. These healing were not imaginary or temporary, but yes there are fakes and I'm grateful that James Randi exposed this fake Christian healer. Randy is a good man, but sadly he feels because he uses slight of hand to fool people in his magic acts that everyone else does as well.

There are a lot of well meaning "faith healers" out there, I have yet to see one with the actual ability to heal people with Gods power, if anyone did actually have the power of God at their disposal, why wouldnt they go clean out the sick kids ward of the hospitals? The ministry of Jesus and his disciples was undeniable, you couldn't deny they had the power of the Holy Spirit, but are we willing to spend the hours upon hours per day in prayer and fellowship with God to get that? Probably not.

This could be a dangerous video if taken out of context. I've never been a follower of Peter Popov one way or another, so I really have no basis to construe an opinion of him. However, even if he is a fake, one must be careful to not allow that to shine a dismal light on faith healing all together. One faith healer being a fake does not provide even the tiniest bit of evidence of another being a fake, and I think that unfortunately many people will draw that faulty conclusion from this video.

There are a lot of well meaning "faith healers" out there, I have yet to see one with the actual ability to heal people with Gods power, if anyone did actually have the power of God at their disposal, why wouldnt they go clean out the sick kids ward of the hospitals? The ministry of Jesus and his disciples was undeniable, you couldn't deny they had the power of the Holy Spirit, but are we willing to spend the hours upon hours per day in prayer and fellowship with God to get that? Probably not.

I go to a Christian school, as soon as i started to challenge their beliefs on faith healing all my Christian friends started calling me dumb, saying I'm a fool and I'm going to hell. I'm only 14 yet My IQ is 143. If i said that they were dumb perhaps I'm as bad as them? I'm not Ignorant I don't SAY there is no God yet I'm not going to put all my faith into something that goes against all human instinct and would probably influence my life drastically. I'm not an idiot. I'm observant.

If the power of suggestion can get people with arthritis to walk, we should really try to understand what these faith healers are doing.

I know that Randi has helped a lot of folks by exposing frauds and fake medicines,but there was one instance I would like explained.He put water and gold witching to the test and found that none of it worked.But the fact is,while the gold witching failed, the water dowsing was remarkably successful.But because Randi combined the results of both tests together, it appeared that all of it was a fraud.Even friend and fellow skeptic Arthur C. Clarke called him out on this.Why would Randi do this?

To someone dedicated to finding the truth no matter what, it was apparent to me that Randi was being deceitful in the way he went about reaching his final conclusion. Read my original comment again. Arthur C. Clarke was also a skeptic and even he questioned Randi's motive for doing this.

This could be a dangerous video if taken out of context. I've never been a follower of Peter Popov one way or another, so I really have no basis to construe an opinion of him. However, even if he is a fake, one must be careful to not allow that to shine a dismal light on faith healing all together. One faith healer being a fake does not provide even the tiniest bit of evidence of another being a fake, and I think that unfortunately many people will draw that faulty conclusion from this video.

However that being the case, i can attest that Christians still do have the power to lay hands on the sick and see them recover in jesus name. There was a man who was blind and begging one day as I went out to the streets to share the Gospel, I asked him what he needed and he said he simply needed some change, I gave him a handeful of coins enough to buy food and drink and I asked him if I could pray for him
