it sucks DOWN the smoke through the water the bulb milks up with smoke and he sucks on the other straw to get his "hit".

@Whoop2x Because your using two different tubes or straws. The one that goes down in to the water holds the bowl. When the other pipe is inhaled or sucked on it trys to bring air in throught the pipe with the bowl on and the that keeps the cherry going.
