I guess when a music video is to be thought of there is two entirely different kinds of approach one can take. a narrative one, that could fit with the song. Or something abstract and fun, seen just as a visual representation of whatever could come to ones' mind when they are listening to it. I think she chooses to take the second one. And manages to succeed quite well.
