Dear Prudence is about Mia's sister, I guess I don't have to tell you her name ;-). Try Google, it's all there. Sexy Sadie is about the Maharishi who took a pass on Mia Farrow - as the story goes. Anyhow, both good songs.

There was Jumpin' Gene Simmons, a rockabilly singer in the 50's, early 60's who did some country stuff in the later
60's Gene Klein/Chaim Witz took the name from him. There is also the actress Jean Simmons, who I believe Lennon is referring to here

I read in Cynthia Lennon's book called John that it happened a little differently- someone accused the Maharishi of sexual misconduct with a guest and it was John and George's idea to leave early.

You here told it already but this needs to be brought to light again. This Maharishi song has absolutely nothing to do with Sexy Sadie other than the song topic, even if a bit of Sadie has been edited into the end.
This really is a home demo from late seventies or early eighties, and there certainly is not Bungalow Bill or Sexy Sadie emerging here. Nor is the woman Cynthia, she is Yoko.

Yes, Greeks, that's why I brought it up. I think they were the only Greek rock band to make any impact in the U.S., even a minor one. Their biggest claim to fame was their album "666". Enjoy!
