I bought dyed chicks 2 years ago and they are now happy and healthy roosters. Still alive and well. :)

Agree. Some people put them in tiny cages and they can't even fly to another perch above or below. The Cockatiel make great house birds and will watch tv and nibble away on some munchies with you in between licking your ear. Come on peeps, spend tha money and buy a big cage if you must keep them. A good idea is to have a big outdoor aviary that is walk in able.

you do realize they grow up and lose the coloring. I feel that the ppl who want to buy "cute little chicks" but don't realize they grow up and then ignore their needs when they are fully grown because they arent cute and fluffy anymore do not need them. I myself have a flock consisting of 3 R.I reds, 5 Dominique and 12 Plymouth rock hens and 2 N.H red roosters. mom and dad were wary about me getting chicks @ first, but they are great and I love them so much. Even Pilot, my killer rooster lol.

Nope, they were jumping around ALL DAY before this. The only way they did this was when they were happy and warm.

I held them for a while and then they fell asleep. I took the video right after they got comfy with the warmth of my hand.

Right now they are extremely healthy, big and energetic. They never leave each other.

I'm not sure if it is dangerous; the abusive pet shop owner was the one that dyed them, and he had them in a small cage, more than 50, almost dying under the sunlight with no water. 

But when they grow, I will take them to my grandparents house; there are a bunch of chickens there.

Yeah they are chicken chicks. The crappy and abusive pet show oner dyed them like that and sold them
