  • tbh that dog looks more like a mix between german shepherd and a greyhound,. maybe you need some lessons on picking a german shepherd?

  • the mix breed looks like he is from hell

  • @NOBL3Zz But the purebred is better looking than MOST PEOPLE!!!

  • dude... Your stupid

  • lol germans are getting famous

  • Awww my GSD's parents are huge the dad is 29 inches his a monster and the mom is 26 inches andthe paretns are black and tan :)

  • 0:19 "WTF DUDE?!?"

  • Sorry to bust you're bubble, but the best German Shepard's, have not that "body sloap" you are talking about. I agree though about the pure the lines, but then you have to know about what kind of breed you are talking about. Today German Shepard's are unfortenally breed in that way with that "sloap" and that makes results in a breed of kind dogs with hip problems ect... You should know this if you are a German Shepard owner. Best regard from Susanna born in Iceland, live in Norway, with Freya

  • that mix is ugly, that's not a shepherd lol

  • my german shephard is almost all white and he looks like a horse.

  • i have a purebred, they generally require more responsibility and training as they are very protective and workaholics lol

  • Your purebred Shepherd's muzzle looks sloped like a greyhound's..

  • ok so wheres the part where you tell us how to choose a GSD???

  • @GoddesssOfDarknesss Nice use of descriptive language. I don't believe that I am going to 'change the world', but i'll keep arguing until I accomplish something. Even just doing it on YouTube. I do it whenever I can, I am committed to helping animals, but people like you, stubborn people, are the ones preventing these creatures from finally being cared about. Stop, think about whether it is or isn't worth killing animals just so you can have a nice meal. That's what it comes down to in the end.

  • @GrapeNomma First of all, i am not torturing ANYTHING. If you want to complain to someone, go complain to the people who are ACTUALLY doing it. I eat meat because its HUMAN nature. People like you look sick and malnurished. Humans didn't survive for hundreds of years by eating grass. They survived by HUNTING animals. Is it cruel that wolves kill deer? That bears kill wolves? That lions hunt zebra? Is that "cruel" to you? You act like humans cannot eat animals, yet other animals can? Haha.

  • @ThatOneGirlTV By animals, you mean dogs, cows, sheep, cats... it's like saying "I love my mum, but I was hungry so I tortured her then ate her O.o" yeah, the cake is not a good example. It's not an animal.

I suppose you are just ignorant and refuse to stop eating the things you supposedly love, you must be one of those people that is just naturally mean and inconsiderate. You really don't care about the animals, you think just because you don't know them personally means it doesn't matter.

  • @GrapeNomma Your also a complete idiot to think that global warming and such is caused by animals or eating meat. You haven't a clue, have you? Very young and blind, indeed. Haha. Nothing you have read about ANYTHING holds truth, the truth is a work in process. You also seem to be brainwashed as well. Being a non-meat eater has nothing to do with the earth, the GOVERNMENT does. Idiot. You seem to be lost in all the media hype and the lies that it pertains to. Nothing is truth. You know nothing.

  • @GoddesssOfDarknesss It is not directly associated with eating meat, look it up. It's the cows kept, they make the gas... and since milk is far more essential than meat, it would be helpful to stop being so selfish and start actually thinking about what the animals are going through. You could live a healthier life without meat, and yet you CHOOSE to torture and eat animals, It's very cruel. And yes, I am extremely passionate. I believe that animals do not deserve this.

  • @GrapeNomma Cows do not cause all this "gas" that you have been brainwashed to believe in.Its called the GOVERNMENT and the SECRET SOCIETIES. Go look that one up. Of course, your just a blind sheep of society, being fed lies and actually believing them just because you've read it somewhere. Like they say, there are 3 kinds of lies: Lies, damned lies, and statistics. Anything you've read or heard is most likely a LIE. Soon enough there won't be a world to even "save" your animals. Get over it.

  • @GoddesssOfDarknesss Go make up a 9/11 conspiracy theory you paranoid retard.

  • @GrapeNomma Paronoid? Your the one following their every lie. I'm happy to be "awake" and see whats REALLY going on in this world. Your a complete blind idiot and i will laugh when the day finally comes when all shall see....

  • @ThatOneGirlTV You are not actually rebutting anything I say. Your way of getting out of an argument you can not win is very ineffective. I will continue defending my beliefs. And I am, please go back and read, every time I say something that you can't rebut you just go at me again. You either love animals or you don't, and you can't if you eat them.

  • @ThatOneGirlTV NOT FUCKING TRUE! Do your research you ignorant bitch, if we were all vegetarian then it would effect global warming significantly. I don't understand what your saying about people, animals routine is 'Born, eat, suffer, die" the only difference is THEY DONT HAVE A CHOICE!!!!!!! You can do whatever you want, but they have to die because of selfish idiots like yourself. Your not thinking from their point of view! And yes, hormones and steroids... drugs. Not any better.

  • @ThatOneGirlTV And there is no one else to blame but the people around me. I could blame my cat. But that wouldn't do much good would it? You don't have to make this complicated. I think that animals deserve fair treatment and love them, you prefer to eat them rather than be nice to them. I think that you don't have good enough reasons to eat them, so here I am. You think that your so important that hundreds of thousands of animals can die so you can have a nice meal. Your a very selfish person.

  • @ThatOneGirlTV I disagree. You eat the animals because you 'think its natural' and they taste nice. I object because I think that thousands upon thousands of animals lives are being ended and you need a better reason. What we are doing to the animals is not humane and not acceptable. There is nothing natural about what we are doing, a male has the instinct to have sex with many females, this is natural, but some find that it is not acceptable. Eating animals is no longer natural, its cruel.

  • @ThatOneGirlTV 3. Animals contribute massively to global warming. 4. They are fed chemicles to get big (your calling this natural?) 4. Well, they are a hell of a lot nicer to have around than you. 5. We don't have to eat them, vegetarians are actually healthier than meat eaters if they eat the right things. And you just say "I prefer to eat animals that have been tortured all theyre life and have a slow death than not eat them, because I dont even have the willpower to stop myself"

  • @ThatOneGirlTV Then why are you not dead? My horse is lovely and sweet and really nice to be around. You however... You sound like someone that says "Sweetie" every 2 seconds and has no idea why I buy them or what dairy products I buy. So, instead of her having to go to the knackers, why not you? Look, here is why you should not eat meat.

    1. Animals suffer, not that you care you don't think about it (The dairy products I eat/drink are not harmed)

    2. They live awful lives and have a slow death

  • @ThatOneGirlTV And she does not eat her paddock mates, or my dogs. Not sure how, but somehow I can survive by not eating meat, it's magical really. Seems I am different, most people have to torture and kill thousands of animals, but I have the amazing ability not to eat meat. And for some reason, I have retrained myself from eating my horse. Whereas, someone like you would go and kill her right? Well why not? Oh right, you would get someone else to do it for you, I see now.

  • @ThatOneGirlTV I dont eat fish. And yes, my morals are probably pretty fucked up. They wouldn't be of course it it wasn't for people like you, but whatever. Animals are a lot nicer than people, especially people like you. I own a blind pony, she was going to be sent to the knackers by her owners because she couldn't be ridden. Of course, we took her and she will stay with us forever, but if you were blind and I had to take care of someone like you, i'd kill you. She is a wonderful companion.

  • @ThatOneGirlTV Wrong. The milk I drink is from cows treated properly, which is why it is so expensive, don't call my dogs 'mutts' they are crossbreds. And they have NOT come from puppy mills, we either got them from the RSPCA or from owners that had to give them away. My crossbred puppy was owned by my cousin, who knew its mother and father, they knew the grandmother and father etc. They are not from puppy mills, you know nothing about them, they are far superior to your poor dogs.

  • @ThatOneGirlTV Thats sounds fair.... Hmmm, if you can get out of jail, you can live. -_- You can't say you care about dogs if you eat animals, it's disgusting. Animals may be less intelligent than us, and look different, but we don't go around eating ugly people with down syndrome, they would not be able to get out of the jail. So, you supposedly care for dog, feed it, all that... But at the same time you eat it? We should not have these ideas that dogs are better than cows, their both the same.

  • @GrapeNomma I'm sorry, i just have to comment this because of how ignorant you just sounded. First off, sure, all animals and humans are equal, but if it wasn't for man domesticating dogs, we wouldn't even be here today. Dogs helped us thrive by hunting and protecting out territory, therefore, more food and safety, more offspring. So, in my eyes, dogs ARE better than cows, which, right along with chickens, have been SPECIFICALLY bred to be "dumb" so man could easily eat them. We are OMNIVORES.

  • Actually, long ago, eugenics WAS practiced. To try and "select" the "best" qualities in certain people, therefore, they could only have offspring. You keep going on about how Breeders cause BYB's. No. BYB's are people who DECIDED on their own that they were going to breed soley for money and ego. You also keep confusing two things. The show standard and working standard of all purbreds vary. Most "good" breeders are the latter, breeding them to keep the working drive alive.

  • @GrapeNomma Like everything in the world there are good and bad sides to everything. There are good and bad breeders on both sides of this argument but if it wasn't for responsible pure breed breeders we would have lost all the characteristics in dogs that we desire and in some cases need(working dogs) Yes there are breeders out there just for money and they are producing unhealthy dogs but that doesn't mean that all the breeders are bad. We need to educate the buyers not bash dog breeds.

  • @GrapeNomma Also, mixes can make wonderful pets. Never said they coudn't. Another false statement you've made. And reputable good breeders and backyard breeders are TWO seperate things. BYB's just want money, while reputable breeders actually CARE about better the breed. One more thing to note, hmm, its not only purbreds who suffer from BYB's. Ever heard of Cockapoos, Labradoodles, Chiweenies???? Get it??? They ALSO over breed mutts for money.

  • @GoddesssOfDarknesss You idiot. BTW I'm not trying to get anyone on my side, but nothing pleases me more than to argue with someone that has no idea what animals are going through. One question: "Are you vegiterian?" Okay, i'll wait for you to answer that. But those stupid mixes are not crossbreds! They are breeds in themselves, crossbreds that I am talking about are crossed between enough dogs so that they are completely unique. The breeding community created those crosses.

  • @GrapeNomma First of all, you do not know me, therefore, you cannot make these "assumptions" that i know nothing. You saying that, makes you look like a pretentious fool. Now, those are actually called "designer" breeds, but, in all reality, WE DON'T NEED THEM. More reasons for BYB's to breed. We already had hypo-allerginic breeds, such as the Poodle. Animals face cruelty DAILY, not just through breeding. More animals are beaten, abandoned and starved to death. I KNOW what animals "go" through.

  • @GrapeNomma Whoa. You really need to calm down. You aren't going to get many people on your "side" by talking like that. And no, those are NOT "good" breeders. "Good" breeders put tempermant and health FIRST. Like i said before. We need GOOD breeders to keep the "true" purbreds that are healthy alive. If we didn't have breeders, then we woud'nt have any purebreds. If we didn't have any purebreds, we wouldn't have MUTTS, or ANY dogs, for that matter. Since, they are CROSSES of purebreds.

  • @GoddesssOfDarknesss No, 'good' breeders are the cause of this. If we just stopped breeding clones then there would not be a demand for awful diseased dogs, I realize that the 'good' breeders are trying to stop the diseases but the only way dogs will stop suffering in this way is if people just use purebreds for working purposes. Not for looking good or showing! Of course I know crossbreds are crosses of purebreds. But crossbreds can breed with crossbreds!

  • @GrapeNomma Sure, they can breed with other crossbreds, but do you REALLY think that will fix everything? Not quite. And your missing the point, if it wasn't for us domesticating "purebreds", we wouldn't have crossbreds. Take a good look at all 3 of your dogs. So just stop. I've made my point. Your just rambling on over a lost cause.

  • ye i think it is an american

  • Always mix breed. Always. Get a purebrerd and you are officially a sick fucking asshole and deserve to die.

  • @GrapeNomma prick

  • Can for fucking once you people treat dogs like living things? Like people? Yesterday I went to the human store and bought a desexed purebred human for $500, it is so inbred that it already has over 250583 deseases, but that's all ok because it's purebred! You have no arguements. Treat all animals well. You can't live animals if you both own a purebred dog, and know what it's been through, argue with me, I'm going to enjoy this.

  • @GrapeNomma First of all, you are making a GENERALIZATION. Yes, some lines of purebred dogs are CRAP. So inbred, even some GSD hocks wobble. People only caring about the looks, and not tempermant or health. But, there ARE reputable breeders who put tempermant and health FIRST before conformation. Please don't JUDGE all purebred dogs. Thank you. Btw, with a mixbred, there alot of things thats hard to tell, like tempermant and size, unlike a purebred, which has characteristic traits its known for.

  • @GrapeNomma You said it. When are people going to get over the whole purebreed craze? it's so stupid. I've had purebreds and mutts and MUTTS are always better. Healthier, better temperament, and usually are in need of a home.

  • i have a 80 lbs almost year old. really hyper and has some but needs alot more training.

  • that mated with a coli

  • 1:27 ................. que miedo!!!!!!!!!!

  • lols

  • i could not see this dog all I c is words..:(

  • how do you get that annoying text off the screen? what's that all about?!!

  • @djjazzydj Click the button that says cc..

  • If anyone actually knows how to pick out the biggest GS out of a litter please do tell me.

  • @MrPitseleh u can look at the paws of the puppy...

  • American German Shepherd are breed just for show or home dog, NOT working dog. You NEED German Shepherd from Working German BloodLine

@ 1:08 This guy talking about American German Shepherd that have lower back feet. Proper bred German Shepherd have flat back, not the shape like Frog or Show dog German Shepherd

  • wait till I post video of a pure G Shepard in a few days, those dogs dont have anything to do with real European G shepard.I know that the breeds in U.S. r not the same like here in EU,but still i want to show you one unique example.

  • best dogs

  • Learned nothing here. Waste of time.

  • just like every other "expert" village video

  • that looks like an extremely fearful dog. wonder why

  • The cool thing about german shepherds is there is so much variation. Ive owned an Amer x Euro and now a ddr german shepherd. There are differences but also similarities. People should just get the kind of dog they want and will take good care of for their whole lives. U cant go wrong with a gsd though. I always say when you get a gsd , u dont get a dog , you get a best friend.

  • purebred german shepherds are NOT supposed to have a "body slope" -- this is overbreeding and causes all sorts of ailments for the dog such as hip displasia and arthritis. i have a purebred GSD and her back is STRAIGHT, as it should be. the "kennel club" is full of shit, and quite frankly it's cruel to the animal.

  • the mix breed looks scarier

  • @dianasuarr looks like something out of a resident evil game

  • Thanks. I wasn't sure if looking at the parents was reliable because my framily has Shi-Tzus that have been bred with 3 litters and some look nothing like their parents. Both parents where white and tan but half the pups actually grew to be white and black with no tan.

I didn't know if GSD's happened the same way.

  • Tan might be a recessive (rarer) color. I think Labradors are the same way color wise, but it's possible to determine adult size and personality from the parents. Personality can be altered with good training, but it's hard to do if the puppy inherits aggressive or skittish genes from its parents.

  • well i would like to know how can you tell characteristic from looking at a single puppy or litter if or not he/she is gonna become big. as in the width of the ears the size of the shanks and paws and so forth.... if you could answer that it would be great...

  • look at puppy's parents

  • How can you predict what a puppy might look like when it's fully grown? Does the markings change color from birth? Are there things to look for to make a prediciton?

  • It depends what you feed it also.

  • Wha't the best thing/brand to feed it?

  • German shepherd markings change like crazy from birth to adult. But they do have indicators when they are at the adoption age which suggest what kind of coat and color they will have. A breeder should be able to help you out with that.. and if your going to get a shelter shepherd puppy just go to breeder websites they usually say something about how the color of puppies change as they get older... goodluck

  • haha - american version of their so called "pure german sheperd dog" is laughable. what the fuck is that...looks more like a greyhound.

  • Something to keep in mind also is not to get inbreds. A lot of american german shepherds are inbred and i would never buy such a dog. Look around and find a good breeder. Read a lot before buying as well.

  • Before anyone "buys" a German Shepard, they should at least buy a book titled "The Art of Raising a Puppy" by the Monks of New Skete. This small purchase is informative for veteran Shepard owners and new people alike. I am not trying to sell their book, I just want people to be well informed when they bring these amazing dogs into their lives.

  • Shepherd

  • I agree with you. They have really good books for german shepherd.

  • thanx...i ned help caus ei am getting one soon..

  • Get a german line. American line show dogs look crippled.

  • ... I've seen both American and and German show lines range from plausible to "why hasn't this breeder been arrested for animal cruelty"... It's really a better bet to know what that breeders goals are and to get a good look at their past litters and the parents of the dog. Also both countries practice dog inbreeding to get the traits they want narrowed down into dogs they call it "line breeding" again depends on the individual breeder not their country

  • I was told by a freind whos a police dog handler that when looking at shepards the sloped back could be a bad thing making them more prone to hip dysplasia and that they where better squared away?? anyone tell me more about that?

  • its better for the german shepherds to have a sloped back because they can go under fences, run and work easier. if a person tells u she/he has a pure german shepherd and the back is leveled, its not a pure bred

  • That dependes on the line of german shepherd. I don't think telling people that because a german shepherd has a leveled back is not pure. There are some lines that have a leveled back, like working german lines. Working lines may are more high energy, a bit more agressive but a lot more stable than show line dogs.

  • dysplasia is a genetic disease so if the dog walking strange your veterinarian can easily notice that. If u buy a GSD from good breeding u shouldn't have a problem with this coz they separate dogs with this disease from procreation.

  • the extreme sloping or roaching in a German shepherds back is almost purely for show so that they have a longer more flashy gait. If you look at most working dogs Police work or herding they tend to go for dogs without extremes of either type because they are sturdier dogs

  • is a female or male german shepard is better??

  • Pending on what you want it for. Female tends to stay closer to owner/handler. Males tend to go out and explore more. That is why police tend to use male dogs. They want them to go out and search further than female usually do. They both will protect very well and learn very well. I'm glad I have female. They don't pick up there leg and urinate on everything such as grills, lawn furniture, over fertilize plants, etc. Females squat and go one to next spot. Other than that, they are both great.

  • your dog dont look good sir.hehehe

  • What was that?

I hope no one is going to listen to this advice, it is not good advise, believe me.

  • This guy is an idiot

  • It is a pure dog. The guy lives in Florida and the GSD didn't have its winter coat we're so used to seeing.

  • This dog looks amazing i love it

  • is not pure

  • It doesnt look like a purebred...

  • @happyrendezvous why doesn't it?

  • Is she american bread because i notice that her nose is very pointed looking, where as the german bread tends to have a more squarish type nose.

  • Mixed breeds are all well and good, but comparing the hybrid with the purebred he showed before, theres no contest. The purebred just looks better, it looks like a german shepherd, the other looks like some odd mixed mutt.

  • my german shepherd/beagle mix is the stupidest dog I have ever seen. Mixed breeds are great? I disagree.
