A lot has changed since the release of Fortress Forever and although we're a relatively small community, more and more people are playing every day! No longer do you need to buy a HL2 game to play FF since the Source SDK Base required to play FF comes with TF2 for FREE! So go download TF2 if you don't have a HL2 game(such as HL2DM, CS:S, DOD:S) and head over to the Fortress Forever website and check this game out!

Modern day TF2 sucks cocks in hell compared to early release TF2. TF2 was considered a game back when there were no hats or update weapons. Nowadays it's all about achievements, bullshit tactics and lack of cooperative play.

Even though the original TF2 still wasn't considered a proper 4th installment to the series, it was still better than it is now.

Great game. Once it gets a Steamworks update which will allow the developers of Fortress Forever to send updates to this mod automatically, the player base is going to increase vastly. Right now, every update to this mod you have to manually go and download and install from the FF site. Can't wait for version 2.5 though, Warpath is going to be SWEET!
