I was the same age as the actors/actoresses i when this came out, loved it then and have it on DVD now. Classic film of its time, that was the 80's for you....
my friend's dad composed this! but i should stop boasting about that because i forget that he isn't ACTUALLY my dad...he also played in the band that won eurovision, played on top of the pops and got pissed and jammed with tina turner...
This music reminds me when i was a kid, i wasnt born in 1981 but grew up in cumbernauld and the theme from this reminds me of many kids programmes i seen at cumbernauld primary school... very emotional and has a lot of happy memories somehow but i dunno why haha
Amazing. I totally forgot about this gem of a soundtrack. Of course the movie is one of my favorites, but terra cotta is totally correct: this music is spot on perfect. Thank you very, very much.
The jazz score lends itself to making this film up their with the greats. Without it the charm and warmth throughout the film may of been lost. Would love to get my hands on the 1985 filmtracks cd.And who's the bass player who sounds like a budding Jaco?
Gallus. cheers for posting folks. Pure murder gettin a hold of this. Think it was only ever available on a (long deleted) Great Britsh Movie Themes LP (or summat similar
