I think it should be pointed out that while Nader opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants because it would promote more illegal immigration, Gonzalez, his running mate, has fought FOR amnesty. I personally am pro-amnesty so I'm glad Gonzalez is there to keep Nader from sliding too far on this issue. The KEY to stopping illegal immigration is ENFORCING a LIVING MINIMUM WAGE (over $10/hr) as Nader has implied in the past. That cuts out the economic incentive to employ illegals at lower wages.
