@Russian3600 Hence, why no country will ever be able to control the world. Colonial empires or just empires in general will almost always fail. The US is reluctant that they have been able to maintain their force, or what many consider to be an empire.

It is more an economic/military empire that prefers to control countries through client states. For example Japan and Germany are both fully independent of the US and are even economic rivals, but the US holds enormous political and military influence over them and could exercise that influence if it wished. There are many other countries in this position, even the UN.

Mit der SU kann ich es nicht gut da ich mich bei Massenarmeen garnicht zurechtfinde am liebsten spiele ich die Deutschen da sie einfach schon am Anfang eine starke Armee besitzen trotzdem grosses Lob an dich das du soviel dem Erdboden gleichgemacht hast hätte ich es nicht besser machen können;)

hey leute hab das mal angefangen zu spielen (leider auf englisch) und eins hat mich überrascht 24 sowjetische divisionen verlieren gegen 3 divisionen aus estland, kann mir mal das einer erklären UND wie bekämpfe ich am besten die Widestandskämpfer um möglichst schnell das weitere land anzugreifen ansonsten vesammeln sich viel zu viele partisanengruppen in meinem eigenen land und SU ist ja riesig deswegen hab ich nicht überall truppen stationiert?

Ja,viel zu viel ich hab wahrscheinlich allein mit sowjetunion 6 mal bis 45 gespielt,bis ich dieses video gemacht habe -und immer total unterschiedliche taktiken ausprobiert.Und ich hab auch sehr viele kleine Lände mal gespielt und damit teilweise halb europa erobert (z b mit Rumänien oder Holland -mit griechenland hats leider nicht geklapt, und spanien funktioniert auch sehr gut)

Und zum vorgehen gibs eigentlich nichtviel zu sagen:immer den Gegner angreifen,den man auch besiegen kann

Hamatchi profiel machen dann ein server dort erstellen ganz einfach dann macht einer einen server bei HOI2 auf,also bei LAN und dann klingst du oder er sich ein. WEnn das nicht geht das ihr euch über lan findet, einfach mall den anderen nen Server aufmachen hatt bei mir und einem kumpel auch geklapt.Hoffe ich konnte dir helfen wenn du noch Hilfe brauchst schreib mich an.

Standardmäßig kann man ab '36, '38, '39, '41 und '44 spielen. Mit HoI: Doomsday kann man auch ein 3.WK Szenario ab '45 spielen.

Spielen kann man bis '56 oder so glaube ich, wobei es Endlospatche gibt.

@Abensberg Muss man nicht unbedingt... Man kann auch mit Deutschland erstmal auf Krieg verzichten und viel durch Diplomatie erreichen. Polen und andere Nachbarländer in die Achse holen und dann mit den Allierten gegen SU und Japan kämpfen zB, je nachdem wie sich das Spiel entwickelt ;o Ahistorisch natürlich, aber da spricht ja nichts gegen ;)

Allow me to disagree. If soviet union would have qoncuered the europe and asia with china as help they would have had much greater amounts of resources and men at their disposal.

You see with china in their aid they could have attacked from two directions making american army, navy and airforce to split for both sides while russians wuld have come from east while chinese would have come from west.

i still beg to differ.... the U.S has the most disciplined army in the world... they have the most ships and most planes... when the Russians or Chinese tried crossing the Atlantic or Pacific their fleet and planes would pick them off one by one... also the west would be futile as there is no way they could get past rockies.. and our east coast would be our main concentration of the fleet.... the ship difference is 100+ in U.S favor and the plane amount is 300+ in U.S favor...

It would not have necessarily been a nuclear war. Infact NATO contingency plans for the aforementioned scenario i highlighted were against the use of nuclear escalation. Mutually Assured Destruction principles being the primary deterrent. The issue with that was that any "contained" or tactical use of nuclear weapons would have been the only feasible method to deter a Soviet invasion of Western Europe.

Also. I would say the USA was the only nation not severely affected by the Second World War. The USSR lost some 30 million of it's citizens. China lost a similar though somewhat smaller number. And China still had a civil war to deal with.

well i can easily expalin russia, they would kill entire families if their son(s) did not agree to serve in the military also the siege at Lenigrad killed 1/30 of those numbers (not a very big portion but a lot of people... more than the U.S lost in a war) and it was not civilians that were only casualties it was that the russian soldiers were idiots UNTIL stalingrad when russia took the time to train new ppl

You cannot "easily explain" the Russian casualties by blaming Stalinist oppression. While many did die due to his brutal methods the huge attrition of war, the invasion of the USSR, and subsequant pushbacks all played a huge role. Consider living in a town in occupied Poland which has been overran by Soviets, only to be overran by Germans, and then the Soviets again. The fighting, bombardments and general havoc of war would have killed many many more. This was by far the largest theatre in WWII.
