It's a 1987 Blazer so only the back half comes off. They discontinued the full convertible feature in 1976. Be careful though, once removed(if not removed before), the cap tends to leak because it doesn't always seal completely.

Sorry, I don't build these on commission. The body is a modified Tamiya Clodbuster body. The chassis is a Tamiya XC.

im about to buy a 1987 blazer (in real life) and since you have a blazer,when you take the roof off, does it take it completely off like a convertible car,or does it still cover up the front seats. i cant remember.

At 0:28 the body was sprayed with gray primer from Home Depot. All of the colors depicted in this video are from Home Depot rattle cans.
