absolutely beautiful track. Makes me think of an unemployed vaudeville actor drinking himself to death in an NYC bar during the opening of a movie. I've always loved this album to death from the moment I heard it and I'm so thankful to have it on vinyl! Thanks for this!
its like a sad and beautiful memory. comes back to make you curl up and cry like a child, then fades away to leave you alone again. this album is a true masterpiece
i was lucky enough to be introduced to Waits by the right person at the right time. I have many friends I'd like to also share my love for his music, but it's hard to hook someone up with something new, especially something like Waits. It bums me out a bit to know that most of my friends are missing out on his incredible music, and I feel as though I'm partly to blame since I haven't found the right way to properly introduce them to his sound.

Tom Waits music has to strike you in your heart from the first tone or word he sings. He is such a great poet who paints lives corners in a way we all can relate too. May not be by our own experience, but he makes you feel what he sings in all your veins.
