I have not seen all comments so i dont know if some else mentioned this before but for your information he grew up in Greece and played for Panathinaikos till he was 17 years old. The PAO scouters never appreciate his skills (morons) as much as to help him get the Greek nationality which he asked for.

Also while in his peak, the National team of Greece tried to get him to play for them, offering now the Greek nationality but some say that Greek players objected to that so it never happend.
