In my last holotropic experience I saw Great White Light in which I dissolved. There were no limits, no qualities to it. It was unimaginable, yet so simple, pure and unconditional.
Quantum physics suggests there could be infinite different versions of us in parallel universes, maybe this guy is Stephen King who's traveled into our universe :P
Yes, you are correct hhassann1980. I remember watching them back then. When I saw these on a Torrent download I felt I had to upload them to YouTube. Mainly to encourage people to science rather than religion, which I utterly hate. I think the BBC are currently airing it again on BBC4 (Feb 2010)
its surprising when you look at the stars, your actully at past .... no doubt if we human travel with speed of light, we can be ahead of present. in other words we can see future
The furthest object so far observed is estimated to be about 13 Billion light years away. It was a gamma ray burst and it's light has taken 13 billion years to reach us meaning it occurred when the universe was less than 700,000 years old...we think...
Sun is moving towards start Vega with speed of 17,280,000 km/day along with planets (including earth) orbiting sun. Question, why are we not let 17,280,000 km behind when we leave earth's atmosphere ?
hhassann, if we leave earth's orbit (not just its atmosphere) our motion is added to or subtracted from the relative motion of the earth around the sun depending on what direction we travel relative to that motion. If we choose to leave the solar system you can point away from Vega and turn your engines on but this isn't 'getting left behind'. The sun (or earth) has no absolute motion, only motion relative to other objects, whether that be Vega, the galactic core, or the local group of galaxies.
hhassann, that was a good question and as a final word, I'd recommend you look up info on orbital mechanics and general relativity as these should do a much better job of describing motion than I have managed (they can be a little difficult to do justice to in these brief postings).
hhassann, it's also important to understand why the sun is heading for Vega (from our perspective). Both stars orbit the galactic core and while they are both heading in the same general direction, due to differing orbital periods and eccentricities and inclinations stars routinely overtake other stars or are themselves overtaken, and we are currently 'catching up' with vega. It's due to both stars motion relative to Sagittarius A (supermassive black hole at the core), rather than to each other.
@hhassann1980 This occurs because space is not empty as we believed ,, it's full of particles and matter ,, and to make it clear ,imagine you're in your car moving wiht a speed of 100km/hr and there is a fly flying around your head >> it will never hit the back of the car because the whole volume of air in the car,you and the fly are moving with the same speed of the car +the fly is orbiting your head .. Got it??
I think the force must be with 26blanco. You could have really fried his noodle if you'd mentioned that light particles also act as waves...depending on how they are observed. Just one example of how physicists routinely deal with 'real' phenomena way more astounding than anything mysticsm has ever imagined
Thank you for the upload of this fantastic documentary. I very much prefer the British style programs to the American ones. Less bad drama and special effects and a lot more information to digest.
You can really see the difference in the intellectual level between say this program and say "Animal Armageddon-The First Mass Extinction-Death Rays"(can be viewed on Zuke696's excellent channel), which is what I couldn't stomach my way through an hour ago.
I am afraid Guba (dot) com have taken them down for some extroadinary reason. Sorry chaps. I am currently uploading all four as a torrent on Demonoid (dot) com

light is particles, and you don't need light for life, you need energy, just so happens, light is a decent source for energy
