  • Why you talking about this and you like monkeys? This makes you look dum no matter how concerned you are about the doll and monkey. White people are the ORIGINAL MONKEY LIKE HUMAN BEINGS ON EARTH. Look up Neanderthals and ancient cavemen.

  • So..which one is the black doll?

  • BOYCOTT COSTCO

  • Before seeing these dolls, I assumed that the white doll was the same, in which case I wouldn't think twice about it. But since the white doll is 'pretty panda' .. well then that just sets off my blatant bullsh*t radar. Unbelievable.

  • LMAO!!

  • i think it's cute

  • Teritot- I heard about the Panda dolls too.

DetroitCityKev- Yes, this is very wack! Well if no one wouldn't have made noise I'm sure Costco would have kept the doll out.

Mizzez Jackson- Right. Anyone with sense can see this is racist.

WriterWithAmbitionTV- I'm sure they will get the point when they receive your card.

  • @GlennishaMorgan Thank You!

  • This is some foolishness. Girl, a good friend of mines sent me some pictures of the doll via email last week and I couldnt believe it. I was like WTF? I shop at COSTCO very often and so does my mom, I swear I'm shredding my COSTCO card and will mail it to them with a picture of the doll. They should have never shelved that product, matter of fact it should have never been made. It went through how my departments before it got to COSTCO. Damn shame! Common sense aint so common, cuz this was crazy

  • Yeah i have nothing against monkey's; even the late king of pop loved monkeys. but Costco tried to act like they didn't know what they were doing by selling that lil monkey doll. that was their tricky way of calling us monkeys. Actually, Im not suprised. Corporate America is having their little fun with us now......especially since they can't handle the fact an African American is President. They figure this is how they can get back at us.

  • @MizzezJaxon Corporate America? Honestly? You think white people everywhere are just dying to throw in subtle racist hints everywhere? Don't give people so much credit! I'm biracial myself (Mexican and white) and I have experienced racism but honestly I think you have some racism issue towards whites because you think they're all out to get you which is nonsense. People like you help racism thrive by always bringing it up and dwelling on it.

  • @esunaverguenza I didnt bring up racism. Racism is thrown around so much and it is very alive. Depending where you come from its far worse than what you think. And it will not end.

  • That product is QUITE WACK! First off, who makes the toy and secondly, what kind of SUPER CRACK were they smoking that would actually make them think that this was the type of product to blatantly target African Americans with? Unreal...unbelievable.... and un-called-for. Costco was wrong to even stock that b.s., let alone put it on the shelves. The responsible parties need to be held accountable. Not a good look for equality. Corporate America thinks we're idiots. What a Joke!

  • hey there! i work at costco and i remember these being pulled. Yes i agree both sides of the argument. It was not thought out product. BUT there were 4 different dolls. a white and a black baby with a monkey and a white and black baby with a panda (hat said pretty panda) they pulled all the white monkeys too. sorry this was offensive to some, i like monkeys and wanted one for my daughter. everyone at my warehouse thought it was hilarious.

  • I'm sure they did...had a nice laugh that day huh?...Haha wow. Point made.
