  • Nein! Nein!

    How many? How many?

    Priceless!

  • Easily the single funniest pilot for anything I've ever seen!

  • I wetched this on the televosion ilmost 20 ears ago. Loved it.

  • @DStackz 30 Rock is already super un original. Doesn't shock me they ripped off something

  • Not sure why, but part of this reminds me of Living in Oblivion.

  • forgotten how sweet and funny this is

  • @DStackz I had the exact same thought.

  • Woooooooooooooooooow.

  • Un aspetto molto particolare del grande David Lynch.

  • What is that noise in the introduction after the saxophone plays the 5 notes(it can be heard at 0:08, and 0:34)?

  • None of your fucking business.

  • I don't know who you think you're talking to, but you ain't gonna talk to me like that! And besides, it's none of YOUR fucking business!

  • Jazz from your azz. :-)

  • @vzeu019j a fart

  • mark frost lived with my father at the time of this show and recorded his taking a shit from time to time and used some clips for the opening of this show.

  • Good God, I remember watching this, when it aired.

Everyone was amazed ABC even ran it, because the way they treated Twin Peaks, OTA was pretty much DOA.

  • i used to work for a guy that did the still photography for this series. he was a nutjob, so i am sure he got along well with the rest of the crew. haha. good times.

  • I beg your pardon, 'asa', there were seven episodes in the enitre series. I had long thought there were only six (as that was the "standard" order for most "limited" series at the time). I'm happy they were seen intact elsewhere before the DVD release....

  • This makes Twin Peaks look sane by comparison, and I love Twin Peaks.

  • Regardless if people think it's good or bad, the show seems to be way a head of it's time. I know that's said a lot, but the sense of humor it has (or is trying to have) is very similar to the likes of Police Squad (another show that was a head of it's time), 30 Rock and to a lesser extent Arrested Development.

I say this because of the random humor, especially the monologue for the guy who has bad vision. If he had made this show a decade or so later, it would've propably laster a lot longer.

  • Some ABC executives still wanted David Lynch to produce another TV series after "TWIN PEAKS" left the air- and this was the result. This was Lynch's "alternate universe" look at the "Golden Age Of Television", circa 1957. There are two "camps" for this series: those who adore it, and those who loathe it. Considering what the network scheduled at the time, perhaps it's just as well this "fell through the cracks"; only 3 of the 6 episodes produced ever aired. First telecast on June 20, 1992.

  • There were 7 episodes. 3 aired in the states, all seven aired in England.

  • I want to get good copies that are clear

    Help

  • I'm so glad I have this on DVD. The VHS tracking really got on my nerves.

  • omg i have waited so long to see this

i think i am tearing up

    no jokes

  • @DrRazorblade

You? What about me? Fine you all can just forget me! I'll sit over here in the corner ans chew wet ciggarrette butts.

  • Thank you SO much for sharing this with us. I've wanted to see it again ever since it aired in '92; I thought it was hilarious then, and I think it's hilarious now. I so look forward to seeing the other six episodes some day.

  • The Funniest ever

  • I worked on this show as a P.A.

    Had a fun time.

  • did you work with David Lynch.

  • "Sha cun wutch ot un talavosion en yir un hime"("She can watch it on television in your own home").

  • Plase ramabar, averyune; tines es a vary rimuntec scene, thit ends en trudgady.

(Please remember everyone, this is a very romantic scene that ends in tragedy)

  • Wait, where was the funny part?

  • BOZEMAN'S SIMPLEX!!

  • The first time I saw this, I laughed for an hour after the show was over. I think "The Bird in the Tree" is my favorite song!

  • One of the renowned critics said this show was the worst thing ever broadcast on TV. But I loved it. Filled with absurdity made me laugh to tears in high school. Vladja is so freakingly absurd and funny, accompanied by Betty makes me roll on the floor and laugh. "Bati Ken yu skrem", "Ketchen sen" - these phrases rule.

  • Its a bit like Allo Allo?

  • I remember this show. I liked it and miss it very much. David Lynch is awesome.
