Glad you commented as I couldn't find this vid again lol. As a Froch fan I have to say that Dirrell was a comletely different fight in the AA fight and done himself proud. Looking back on it, I think Dirrell was just nervous when fighting Froch as that was his first big fight. Yeah we were annoyed with the matrix but he is young and it looks as though he has done what was needed which was to just sit behind his punches abit more.

I agree with you that Froch will (should) loose to Diirell 'when' they gight again but Froch 'will' give him another chance. This is why we should appreciate the Cobra...he ducks nobody and wants a legacy so he will fight Dirrell again and probably in the USA. Dirrell should win. I don't think that was a robbery though. It would of been had Dirrell of worked in the first 9 rounds but he ran for the first 9 rounds and then had a good couple of rounds. Anyway...I do agree that Froch did badly and it was VERY close. Dirrell was the guy who ruined that fight in my opinion. Oh Froch won't get any favours in Denmark lol. He will either have to KO Kessler or at least win and win convincingly.

Is not that I am against Froch or that I am in favor of Dirrell, I try to be as impartial as I can, and in this fight Dirrell won no ifs or buts. Let's hope Froch vs. Kessler is a good one. I shall watch again as I only watched it live and then some out takes but I think it was more that they gave it to Froch based on Dirrells tactics. In other words...the real question we have to answer individually is whether or not we think Dirrell did enough to take the WBC. I believe a few factors went into that descision like the fact it was for the WBC, on Frochs turf and Dirrell's tactics. I can see a strong argument from a scoring perspective for Dirrell though (only an idiot couldn't)

That's a very interesting question because based on what we have seen from Dirrell in his last fight...he has the ability to completely outclass Froch and dominate him. We are all left wondering if Dirrell kept away from Froch due to nerves (1st huge fight) and a respect for Froch or whether Froch is too strong for Dirrell to feel comfortable like he did against AA. This is why a rematch will be explosive. I suspect Dirrell would out point froch but without really hurting him?

So to sum up...I think its all to do with Dirrells mindset. Froch is a pressure fighter and will keep comming forward and Dirrell looked as if he was struggling with that although he didn't with AA who many consider to be stronger than Froch? There's still questions on that fight with the main one being....'Can Dirrell dominate Froch whilst managing to keep out his way?' I grant that Dirrell has the skill...does he have the will?

I think due to what happened in the last Dirrell Froch fight, Froch will know that his only chance is to take it to the Matrix so one would assume Froch's mindset will be hell bent on aggression and just comming forward. Yes, I suspect that Dirrell will now have more courage to come forward/sit behind his punches a bit more. Froch is keen on proving himelf and he knows there's doubts looming over that fight so I would bet a rematch is on the horizon.

I think it will be Ward vs Froch in the Final. No one will knock Froch out in my opinion, Ward can beat him on points if he does what Dirrell did (except throw more shots!

King Arthur will come unstuck against Froch in the next round, Carl throws a great roundhouse right which is perfect for getting around Abrahams guard, also he is not as elusive as a Dirrell or Ward, they are the types of fighters Carl has trouble with.

Been following Froch's carrer since his early days and he's always had criticisms about his style. But 8 years on and - 26 fights, 26 wins, 20 KOs, WBC Champ. Never rule out Froch based on style, he has the warriors spirit!

Got to admit, I was worried that Dirrell STOLE it, and according to one of the judges he had. But Dirrell didn't do enough to win the belt, no way. If Dirrell had been more aggressive then maybe. I believe Froch deserved the win more. But I fear for Froch if he should ever meet Andre Ward. Against Kessler and Abraham Froch will always have a decent chance to win as they aren't so elusive and can be hit.

I care about this fight. Kessler seems like his best days are over, but we may see him rejuvenated. I doubt it, but I'd like to see for myself. Why is this fight important? Well, it's part of the entire tournament, so it has to happen. And, if Kessler gives a good performance in this one, the Ward victory will carry that much more weight. Also, I'd like to see Froch against a technically sound boxer with power who will actually stand in front and bang. I don't see this one going the distance.
