I really like MoW.. but the only unrealistic thing about fire i know in the game is the fact flamethrower packs explode when shot.. which did not happen, i saw an interview with a marine who used a flamethrower. and a japanese filled his pack with a few hundred rounds of MG, the only thing that happened to him is that he got a little wet.
You have a very good point, the contents in the pack are not capable of exploding simply due to a bullet piercing it - But if you make a computer game with a flamethrower, you have to allow people to blow it up... :P just one extra use for the direct fire mode
Depends what you shoot it with. Regular and hollow-point bullets wouldn't do anything but make you drip a trail of jellied gasoline, but incendiary rounds will turn you into a walking torch. A tank or a cannon will make you go BOOM and the Eight-Eight will.. .well you get the point XD

I think flak 88 for the germans would be abit OP. Germany is already extreamly well equiped.
