I don't understand comparing Prototype to GTA IV or InFamous (Bioshocks are shooter, not sandbox action games, so it's pointless from the beginning).
In my opinion, Prototype lacks most (or even all) the things I appreciate in GTA and InFamous - the plot, mechanics, city, sounds (it's actually pretty important in games).
Maybe it's just me, but I think Prototype is waaaay behind both mentioned games.
All this Prototype vs. Infamous stuff is ridiculous. They are both good games. They're both a blast to play. They both have good storys although I give the edge to Infamous on that one. And to whoever said that Ps3 graphics are shit, coming from someone who owns both consoles. I have yet to see anything on 360 that can touch Killzone 2 or Infamous for that matter. Infamous graphics are way better than Prototype.
the game's story is well thought, but the inside missions, are a little bit stupid, thats because the game is not for mature (i am not saying that is the only reason), and is for teens.

Prototype is boring like hell... All the sidequests sucks and the main quests are all alike. The story is boring and it doesnt look good. All your upgrades are useless only a few are actually needed. You are almighty. I played through it on hard without any real problems. I died like three times. This game on the other hand is much better in any way.

M$ has basically annouced all thier games for 2010, they'll use E3 to focus on natal, and maybe a few 2011 annoucements here and there. but i predict ps3 to have the better E3 and GDC, mainly because not too many games have been annouced.
Max Payne are mid AA games, the same guys that made that game are making Alan Wake. And Alan Wake is looking really good so far, it has the potential to become AAA, and if not then it'll still become a high AA game.

They are different games and they were being developed more or less at the same time and Infamous was even announced before prototype. So there is no way Infamous copied Prototype.

I don't understand comparing Prototype to GTA IV or InFamous (Bioshocks are shooter, not sandbox action games, so it's pointless from the beginning).
In my opinion, Prototype lacks most (or even all) the things I appreciate in GTA and InFamous - the plot, mechanics, city, sounds (it's actually pretty important in games).
Maybe it's just me, but I think Prototype is waaaay behind both mentioned games.

All this Prototype vs. Infamous stuff is ridiculous. They are both good games. They're both a blast to play. They both have good storys although I give the edge to Infamous on that one. And to whoever said that Ps3 graphics are shit, coming from someone who owns both consoles. I have yet to see anything on 360 that can touch Killzone 2 or Infamous for that matter. Infamous graphics are way better than Prototype.

the game's story is well thought, but the inside missions, are a little bit stupid, thats because the game is not for mature (i am not saying that is the only reason), and is for teens.

Prototype is boring like hell... All the sidequests sucks and the main quests are all alike. The story is boring and it doesnt look good. All your upgrades are useless only a few are actually needed. You are almighty. I played through it on hard without any real problems. I died like three times. This game on the other hand is much better in any way.

Splinter Cell = 3 AAA and 1 AA Title, it's been in development for 4 years now, it'll be AAA no problem.
Fable 1 = 85
Fable 2 = 89
The way it looks Fable III is improving on everything over the second and by the way the scores are going it'll go over 89, making it AAA. And Portal 2 will be AAA, There's not even an argument about that one. 360 has 1 AAA Title out now and the PS3 1. 360 has 4 AAA Titles upcoming, the PS3 has 1, maybe 2 if Last Guardian is AAA, or maybe 0 if GT5 is really delayed.

Only reason Fable II isn't AAA is because it got one bad review of 63 bringing it down. Fable III is a AAA guaranteed so is SCC, Many SC's have become AAA, the last SC was an 89/100 but most get AAA status.
Halo Reach, Fable III, and Splinter Cell Conviction will be AAA games. Everything else will be mid or high AA, but Perfect Dark XBLA will probably also be a AAA game.

MLB is at the moment AAA. and when ME2 had like a 98 on metacritic with like 7 reviews 360 fans were all hyped up for it. lol GT5, the last guardian, resistance 3, SOCOM 4. big guns done huh? 360 has had jackshit yet (part from ME2) which will draw more attention to the ps3.

Your telling me that a Niche Title and AA games are system sellers? oh my, Mistwalker is working on a new JRPG and Epic Games will make an announcement in E3 and GDC. And Rare was working on a new title also. And downloadables are games that many people buy. Don't start excluding them now because PSN can't keep up lol.
Let's see with ME2 it was because it was a high AAA game and was a guaranteed AAA title, it surpassed expectations. It dropped 2, if MLB '10 drops 2 it becomes AA.

Yeah they haven't made a AAA game because they've only made 3 games so far. Can't expect a game company to just come out with AAA quality right off the bat. When you say Shift consoles, then what the hell do you mean? It sounds like you say it'll make 360 owners sell their 360's for PS3's or something. Learn to type better.

Bungie made the Myth and Marathon series first, not Halo, those weren't AAA, and Kojima was already part of Konami at the time.

360 already has 1 AAA and PS3 2 (if MLB doesn't drop lol), but 360 has more upcoming AAA games

fable III is not guaranteed, alan wake is not guaranteed, Sc:C is kinda guaranteed, halo:Reach is guaranteed. ps3 still has modnation racers and LBP2 (rumored) to come for 2010, and they will be using E3 and GDC to showoff most of thier games. M$ has basically annouced all thier games for 2010, they'll use E3 to focus on natal, and maybe a few 2011 annoucements here and there. but i predict ps3 to have the better E3 and GDC, mainly because not too many games have been annouced.

Max Payne are mid AA games, the same guys that made that game are making Alan Wake. And Alan Wake is looking really good so far, it has the potential to become AAA, and if not then it'll still become a high AA game.

yep its LOOKING good. many games have looked good and have turned out FLOPS. example, lair, haze, too human. we have to go by remedy's history and since they've never made a AAA game, alan wake can't be guaranteed AAA. im not cancelling out the fact that it could be AAA im just saying. its not guaranteed. and free radical made timesplitters, which were AA and AAA games, they then made haze and it was a total flop. so who knows alan wake might even be a flop!!!

Take a look at Heavy Rain, PS3 fanboys hyped the shit out of it, but Fahrentheit/Indigo Prophecy were a lower AA games, like Max Payne was. Heavy Rain was close to AAA, and i doubt Alan Wake will get any 4's lol. AAA
