@javajunkie101 I always want to have my acrylic nails but find around here it takes too much to get them touched up. We don't have an abundance of places to get them done around here. Wish I could learn to do my own.
@BeautynScents I tried acrylic nails a long time ago, and getting them refilled was a bother. It also didn't help that I didn't like the nail tech. very much. I love using the KISS fake nails every once and a while. They are very easy to do and I can get them at Walgreens for $6.99. The nails above are too long for my job, so I wear them for fun over the summer and Christmas break. ;)
@BeautynScents Yes, very easily with a pair of toe nail clippers. I do it all the time. :) I then use an emery board to smooth the edges out so they are not so sharp. Within a day or two natural nail "wear" on the nails will even themselves out for an more natural look.
@javajunkie101 Well then I may just have to try those!!!!! Does the glue usually keep them in place good or do you use something other than what they come with?
@BeautynScents I keep the bottle of the glue that comes with the nails in my purse in case a nail pops off. However, when Walgreens carries KISS Everlasting Nail Glue for the initial application. It tends to work better. The KISS nails featured in this video are the CurvedOverlap models. BTW: I do the nail marbling on the fake nails before I apply them. Good luck! I would love to know how they work out for you.
