The game looks great, but the controls suck. Unlike a regular game system, you can never fully control anything in the game that requires physical motion to do. I wish they only made playing this way an option and not a requirement. It makes the game so less fun for hardcore Madden players.

Of course ps3 has better graphics! Look at the damn size of it!I wasn't saying wii has better graphics than ps3/360. I was saying it still has good graphics. everyone knows wii wasn't meant to put out ps3/360 type graphics, but it still puts up good graphics. And i have a ps3 as well as a wii, so i think i can tell the difference.

its like a kid version of madden. it has like a quite little face that pops up on the left and no refs so it can be like pop warner. it even has the hand from mario too. also the laser when you throw the ball and the player chatter probaly sounds like sponge bob. i think this is the best madden game ever and this is comming from a 44yr old man.

I'm disappointed in the graphics too. I'm no expert but doesn't the Wii have something like 4x the graphics capability of the Cube? If so, why aren't developers taking advantage of the boost? I think it may have to do with the Wii controllers in that the developers are concentrating on making the game play take advantage of the Wiimote and nunchuk. On this front, EA did a marvelous job. You can lob a pass or throw a bullet with how rapid you motion with the Wiimote. Kinda cool.

It is twice as powerful as the cube and in theory has the ability to pull of graphics to the original X-box...Although the X-box had a far greater processing power, Nintendo opted to cheap out on it.

It also didn't help that many devs saw it as a fad, which is why Wii got many sloppy PS2 ports.

At least it seems some third parties are starting to take it seriously Madworld FTW.

I like the control scheme for the Wii but would also love it if they gave the option to go with the classic controller or something. I don't feel like standing up and playing this game all the time. . . . you know, after working around the house and wanting to relax I'd like to sit on the duff and play some madden. . . is it possible to make it work on a simple controller?

All of yall keep saying that its made for 5 year olds cuz of the all play controls. Well, yall do know that you dont have to use those controls right? No. They still have the advanced controls, and more features like call your shots. Which allows you to draw your WR's route. Besides from that, visuals lok pretty good, and tackling is better. They didnt even go through the entire game yet and yall already saying "its too kiddish". Give the damn thing a chance.

The Wii remote is a lot more sensitive than that, so I'd say theres more depth than you think it is.

For example, in 08 you can through it over the reciever's shoulder with a more exaggerated and longer movement with the wiimote, or if you want to fire a bullet, you need to have short, stronger movements.
