  • do you still have the alarm

  • was that a FireLite BG-12 in a smoke alarm system!?!

  • No, no pull station(s) accompanied this security/fire alarm system.

Mostly a DSC security system with wireless smoke detectors.

  • Nice House.

  • Tnx!

  • Where Can I Get A House ike That :)

  • 700 ma right?

  • I have that siren. I removed the built in siren driver so I can use it as a speaker as well, but its the same exact driver as in that speaker siren.

  • I take it that smoke was a sounder smoke...

    Cool!

That siren was in one of SimplexTech's vids.

  • I know which vid your talking about it.

It sound similar but I would argue that they are different. I wouldn't be suprised if the one in SimpleTech's vid was an AMSECO siren. This one is an Moose Products (I think)

  • Ah. Was that a PA400 downstairs?

  • Yes it was.

Specifically it was a PA-400B (for the color beige)

This was not my first choice in an interior siren. It sounds too much like a regular smoke detector and is not startling enough. I want to maybe replace it with an EST Genesis or something that would instill the sense that an alarm condition exists.

  • Nice! I am going to do the same with my security system, but instead, I will install a Wheelock MT-12/24W. My panel does 4001 style code 3, so I have to set it to continuous horn.

95 dbA of Wheelock screech right outside the bedrooms, anybody??

  • cool system i love dsc
