He couldn't stand his own voice, he didn't like singing. When they started he was the only one who knew how to sing, so they kept on with that. Their new album has much better vocals, he has improved vastly.

I saw them late last year. Only three of them then, and boy, their hair had grown! xD It was hilarious though, because they were freaked out the roadies when they started climbing a pile of amps, and then proceeded to jump off! Anyways, they play a really good live, so if they ever pull up nearby, go and see 'em.

I just saw them last night. They toured with The Bravery. The show was insane! They were pretty good, the lead kept jumping off the amps like you said. Yeah, only three of em and the lead played bass. crazy

I just saw the police live in Vancouver last night, and these guys opened. I admit I didnt know what to expect, because of the connection to Sting HOWEVER they completely blew me away. Fantastic drummer, good guitarist, Joe has very strong voice( he hits high notes like sting did)but most of all songs themselves were awesome, well written, interesting yet catchy. They displayed a lot of talent and I would pay to see them in concert again. A really really great live show!! I am a total convert!

See I think this is where the breakdown occurs here. This is actually a bad recording of this song. The studio version is much better. As well, what turned me onto the band was actually seeing them in concert. I think the true charm of this song in particular is the lyrics. It's all about the singer of FP having to deal with being Sting's son.

I never heard of the band before. I take it you like this song. It's not my favourite. The song is drowned it until it sounds like another garageband. That's where a clean sound helps, it doesn't need to be acoustic. If they want an up tempo beat, they can do it well and get creative with that. I listened to the other songs posted by FP on youtube and think they can do better. Would you pick this song out of a dozen? I wouldn't, but agree that it's a descent song and a talented band.

Nope, wrong angle, not bad, but mediocre. They should rethink lyrics and melody line. Most of all, get a cleaner sound. There is to much clutter to make a lasting impression. If a song doesn't survive in a clean or acoustic version, it is usually no good. If it does survive, you can do anything with it.
