According to this guy, An apple+ another apple= an orange. Low Kaang sau+High Kaang sau= Kaang sau. Kwan sau is a ´´ reversed Kaang dau´´. With that I mean it looks like a Kaang sau but you you shit to your thumb side.

At the club I train at, kwan sao consists of a tan and a low bong, not gans. Beginners are easily misled, and I've only been practicing Wing Chun for a few years, so if anyone can tell me which is right I'd appreciate it. (I suspect it's what I said though).

these martial arts have philosophy backing them up, and such philosophy is what the martial art promotes... why don´t these TEACHERS teach it instead of showing up fancy moves trying to make chubby people believe this is an effective form of self defense or a way to be a bad ass at school and stop the bully from kicking their fat asses... they should really show some real respect for this martial art, which should not be a way to make money... or at least this is what Kwai Chang Caine taught!

Depends on where you stop the kick at and how good the practitioner is. If an untrained woman blocked it at the foot, she probably would break her hands. If she stopped it at the thigh or closer then she wouldn't.

One thing you should note: Wing Chun was invented by a girl.

Not onyl is a logical martial art, but it's also quite difficult to perform the block that we see in this video! This is a movement performed on the wooden dummie, and that's a high program of training. No begginers use the wooden dummie 'cause it based on difficult principles!
