I actually agree with most of these thats so cool :) but umm MAC Da Bling is actually a really light shimmer pink and i think you pointed out a more browny shade hehehe unless the camera isnt being true to colour but thanks forr the rest :)

@macdiva4, I know you commented quite awhile ago so I probably shouldn't even bother but I just have to say- the purpose of dupes is not to "claim it is MAC". She is doing a nice thing for people who'd like to own similar (note, not exact, SIMILAR) colors if MAC is not in their price range. They just want the look. I doubt they're going around looking down their noses at people telling them they're wearing MAC. Which is more than you can say.

Great and helpful video, the Da bling 1 is off but that Beauty marked is on the money! Infact its easy to blend than the Mac one. I think you did your best on trying to be helpful. I think we should stop trying to compare stuff to Mac lol. Just because Mac has good stuff but it doesnt mean we have to base other stuff around it.

its great enough!!!! its 10 dollars on ebay so whoever else wants to get it, ebay it and get it from dib-bid. his price is by far the lowest. that also includes the shipping. its like 4.89 and 4.99 for shipping. thats amazing.

@Lautnergirl0425 thank you so much for your comment. i don't think people realize the amount of work i put into finding these dupes. i literally swatched the eyeshadows on my arm and compared them with swatches i saw on the temptalia website. it's not the best but it is very close.

Jest is a peachy iridescent color...pink freeze is PINK...quarry...not even close

malt is WAYYYY lighter, tete-a-tint has an orangey base, sable is taupe, not purple.

Try again....the only ones I see that are close are vanilla and bronze

BTW i have almost all of the mac shades and the 28 palette.

Not everyone has the money to buy 28 MAC eyeshadows. If you have them already, plus the Coastal Scents palette, why don't YOU make the video? I would LOVE to see it. Jennifer stated she based this off Temptalia's swatches. I am so thankful she took the time to do this but anyone thinking logically would realize that this is not a sacred text, but a work in progress. Colors on computer screens can be off, so I view these "dupes" as an approximation.

you can get these even cheaper on ebay just type in 28 neutral palette or 88 palette or 102 palette depending on what you want. It's even cheaper than Coastal Scents and it's the same thing.

I just got this today - on ebay from HK - bcs i found out coastal scents buys them from hong kong, then just puts their name on them and doubles the price. I love it!! they are great, beautiful colors - and for 9.99 + shipping - you can't beat the value! thanks for doing this vid - I'm going to make a label to show mac color dupes =)

What you have and on the site are different. I see you have carbon for the black but it says typographic and I see some others that dont see to fit like charcoal brown doesnt look like the last one on the 3rd row in comparison to the mac site

a lot of make up artist shop department stores too its good to have expensive brands but as long as you don't look a hot mess i think its great a lot of people are making their own products so really who can really say what is better than the rest its just a name!

Price is relative. MAC is pricier than drugstore but is more reasonable than other high end brands. Its lipstick and eyeshadow run about $14 each while brands like Guerlain, for example, can run as high as $35.

It all depends on what works and what you can afford. I myself am not a make up snob. I buy both drugstore and department store brands.

actually i wanted to try bitch slap cosmetics and i found out other people sell the same thing and it is true mac is pretty cheap if you think about it but with everyone doing tutorials like this its a waist of time i can get a palette for about $20 but with mac thats about an eye shadow its more convenient for people on a budget. I love that palette even though i gave it away as a xmas gift ill have to buy it again!

these are the ones that are wrong not trying to be just trying to help. Da bling is pink with gold shimmer, hepcat is bright purple, beauty marked is like black with purple glitter and star violet is a wine purple.

I just compared with the couleurs I own and actually none of them are accurate. I suspect natural palettes from ebay differ from one seller to another.

I own hepcat and I can assure you, this couleur is not on my neutral palette and hepcat is not a natural couleur at all is between hot-pink and violet. Trax dupe is not on my natural palette either. Could you please take a closer picture of your palette so I can compare if is the same?

The colour you compared to pink freeze has a more yellow-green undertone and nothing pink in it. I think it's better comparable to "nylon". And I think your "kid" is more like "quarry", because your quarry has too much violet in it.
