@nnial First of all you must understand that making realistic characters in 3d is extremely difficult! there are several different bases of wich a character must go through to be "finished"! when the character then is ready animated an in the really big movied you have several REALLY good computers that renders the images! often it takes several hours for just ONE image to render! There are very many people involved! thats why the most expensive movies in the world is CG. My answer is yes! :)

@nnial just because it was made after jurassic park doesn't mean it HAS to have good CG. The model for the T-rex is perfectly fine, good textures and obviously a professional model team worked on the actual model and also, a very good rigger and animator. you see, to make something look good, it all comes down to the right choice in lighting, lighting makes or breaks any CGI. For this unfortunately, the lighting team weren't that good. if you people actually tried this, you'd see how hard it is.

it says in the movie the kid is 14, i know 14-year-olds that are 5 ft tall.

@dayton3200 yea but the tyrannosaurus is supposed to be an average 13 ft tall, but its the skull that changed my mind, it is flat for a while then it curves, with the gigantosaurus it's slanted then it curves to the nose.
