If you really want to go there and say how it's written in another game then in this particular game the US/EU versions of the game spell his name with one "o" and one "u". So no, there's no mistake in the title, that's how his name is written in the game.

I think Kanbe happen to defeat Mitsunari(... lol?). The game has differant endings based on who you defeat before the final battle. As you take down a character off the map, another character gets taken off by another. It could be free mode.... maybe. -.-''
