I was At K-16 for 2 separate tours with the 377th Medevac. First tour from 89-90, second was 93-94. Looks like theyve gotten a few new buildings. Community center got a facelift for sure. And that pool! Was just a crappy outdoor pool when I was there last. Only 3 units there then. The 377th, 595 maintenence, and D co. 1-52 avn I believe. Had a blast both tours..u guys still make the trip up to Dust-off rock? Is it even still there?
It was 1977- 1978 . I was in 377th Med Det, Dustoff. We didn't have any of the new stuff. I recognize some things from then. I loved it there. Do you still have the motor cross track? Is the new gym and weight center the old hanger from before. I seen a pic or what used to be the old px. I don'r know what that is. I did see a UH-1H with the bumble bee strips on it. It could be one of the old ones. Ours had that, plus the medical cross. I hope you guys enjoy it there as much as I did.
@DELTABOY04 u kidding me there were no muppets we tore that street the fuck up ofcourse we had to clean it up in the mornings and black and bruised but it was so far away we kept everything inhouse
