  • I hate those toads I really hope Australia finds a way to kill them all. The movie approaches it in a comedic way but I get the picture the people of Australia dont find it funny. How thoughtless to just let the 100 run off to breed. A single toad can kill a crocodile, wish I lived there I would help kill them. It truly is a sad disaster.

  • don't kill the toads

  • @the1hero1of1time the toads are killing everything

  • @the1hero1of1time

We don't just kill the toads, we make a mass murder out of them.

  • @AussieTheOztralian But they are cool...

  • @the1hero1of1time

They aren't so cool when there are millions of them.

  • @AussieTheOztralian more like billions.

  • finally! a movie thats different!

  • I kill cane toads every time i see them. Ugly looking foreign introduced species.

  • @AussieTheOztralian good I hate them, I like toads, dont like what they have done.

  • really? strap a toad to a rocket? yeah thats just gonna solve everything -_-

  • movie2k.to/Cane-Toads-The-Conquest-watch-movie-975807.html

  • Too bad animals have to die because of human's mistakes. The toads are not the problem, we are.

  • Even Queenslands moast popular sport rugby is full of teams with wannabe seppo names like the cowboys and the brisbane broncos lol i mean wtf? Australia doesn't have cowboys or broncos we have Stockmen and Brumbies :/

  • As a seasoned toad hunter I can say a garden fork through the top of it's head is instant and effective. Bugger putting them in the freezer....yuk. In plague proportions as seen on the trailer salt can be thrown on their backs. Apparently a toad spray similar to fly spray will be available soon.

  • @aussieyugoslavian that's how the RSPCA suggests you kill them dipshit

  • @aussieyugoslavian

    Freezing works...

    Idiot

  • Freeze them to death yeh that's clever you dumbass lady

  • Apparently in Far North QLD people used to put firecrackers in the mouths of toads!

  • Why the fuuck would you give them a slow painful death by puttin them in ur freezer when you can instant kill by cuttingnits fuuckin head of!

  • @flyKICKyo why instantly kill it by cutting it's head off when you can put it in your freezer

  • this looks bad

  • Design genetically modified cane toads that produce eggs that explode when fertilized by males. Release them into the wild, and problem solved.

    Your welcome Austrailia.

  • Design genetically modified cane toads that produce eggs that explode when fertilized by males.

  • they would make good replacement golf balls

  • I seriously want to see this, cane toads are nasty

  • That's a funny name. I'd have called em chazwazzas.

  • lol inbred toads there were 100 now thousands

  • The Australian accent is the greatest accent on the planet, but fucking hell it sounds so bad in movies :) The only reason the Cane Toads live where they live is because they are retarded, i mean they think Rugby is a good sport haha, all QLD and NSW, rugby loving idiots lol

  • @TheMasterBucks I think you mean league. And I think most of us in NSW and QLD are fully aware that league is a sport that we're proud to be exceedingly good at even though the rest of the world thinks of it as little more than rugby for idiots. Personally, though I've always preferred to play rugby, I love watching league. It's a very entertaining game to watch since the ball actually gets out wide and the salary cap keeps all the teams in with a shot of making finals.

  • @MoNercy sorry dude thats just my opinion, 15 men running into each other like 2 walls colliding and a ball does not require much skill, AFL demands much more fitness and much more skill than leauge and that is fact. I would have though NSW and QLD would be embarassed that the only sport they seem to do well in is a sport that requires so little skill and was made up by kids in england hundreds of years ago : /

  • @TheMasterBucks

Ballet also takes a lot of skill and fitness

  • @rothwellullathorne more than Rugby yeah :)

  • @TheMasterBucks It's a bit misleading to say that AFL footballers are fitter than league or union players. The tackling in league (where it's legal to shoulder charge) and union (where players are involved in very aggressive drawn-out rucks and mauls) is much more demanding than AFL, thus requiring a larger build of specimen. Smaller field = less running, thus less need to be athletic, more need to be physically strong.

Also, Australia's Greatest Athlete winners. All rugby players.

  • @MoNercy you vloody leauge following idiots always go back to Australia's Greatest Atheletes, who gives a fuck? we were represented by Cameron Ling for fuck sake. Mate you need to be fitter than a leauge player to play AFL, On average an AFL player has to run over 15km a game. Leauge players need to have bigger build because thats just the sport. Big idiots running into each other, its abit misleading to think that AFL Players need less skill and fittness than a leauge player. Admit your wrong

  • @TheMasterBucks I never said AFL players need less skill or athleticism. I only said rugby players need to be bigger. Use the copy paste and search function to help you since you're clearly not great at reading. AFL needs a different skillset than rugby. Catching, kicking, running, stepping around defense. Yes, AFL footballers are the best in the business at these. Tackling, explosive sprinting through defense, however. Different story.

Also had Luke Hodge and Brett Deledio in other seasons.

  • @MoNercy i can read perfectly fine dickhead. I know you said Leauge players need to be bigger and they do, i agree but thats it. AFL requires more skill and fitness, its more popular, it is capable of gathering an average crowd of 35'000 were as leauge cant even average over 10'000. The AFL Finals is the most watched sporting event in Australia, its more entertaining.

All leauge has on AFL is that the players are bigger, the one thing you can be proud of. Good on you : )

  • @TheMasterBucks I'm not proud of anything in this interaction. I'm especially not proud of how this has become the "bigger crowds vs. international sporting recognition" argument. The debate starts up far too often and is pointless. There is no rugby(s) vs. AFL in my mind. Australia has room for all three. I honestly enjoy all codes of footy, whether it be union, league, AFL or assocation.

I had no idea you'd get so offended by my arguments. I'm sorry that you only like one sport, I guess.

  • @MoNercy who said im offended? why would I be? I follow the better code :) haha, i think you get the idea I hate leauge, thats not true, just because I like AFL more than rugby dosent mean i hate every other sport, I was kinda feeling as though i was getting dragged into an argument with a leauge fanboy, im glad to hear your not a fanboy though :) Thats just what I always assume is the general population of the internet lol : / anyway can you stop replying now then? thanks

  • @TheMasterBucks

I think you mean the Queensland accent sounds so bad, most Australians don't sound like retarded wannabe seppo cowboy bogans.

  • Man, the Australian accent sounds shit in films, and I'm Australian hahah

  • Is this film out yet??? :)

  • @AbbeyIncorporated The film is playing in Australian cinemas now. To find your nearest screening go to our website. For updates on international screenings, become a fan of the 'Cane Toads: The Conquest' facebook page.

  • @canetoadstheconquest Thanks! I'm booking to go for a session this weekend. I have been waiting a long time to see it. Was something featured on 60 minutes about the movie? I thought I might have seen it.

  • @AbbeyIncorporated Yes it's out. check out OneDDL(dot)com and type the name of the film in the search bar. I have it open at the moment and you can download it there.

  • When I was a little girl and I was being naughty, my dad would say "Shut the bloody hell up woman or I'll take you to an Australian movie".

Needless to say, I went very quiet.

  • Great for golf

  • least they kill the Cockroaches

  • LMAO, killing them is so fun :D

  • shoot at 1 with a 22 riffle, they actually duck the bullet.

  • Oh how I remember camping as a young kid catching cane toads and putting them on the fire. Oh how badly they smelled on fire.... And how we laughed evilly when they popped..

And putting detol on them and lighting them on fire.... Not the smartest idea.....

  • @RandomAwe sicko

  • @kalebird You haven't lived then :P

  • As someone living in Northern QLD, I can attest to this films acuity.

  • NICE!

  • The only way to stop them is to get a Leptodeira annulata

  • @morrison2791 Leptodeira annulata - a snake....it will eat them apparently......then what do we do with all the Leptodeira annulata... import something else to eat them?

  • The only way to

  • 1:02 *vomits*

  • Oh I like the firework... Should aim it at the bloody rest of them

  • Nail gun one to a tree... Takes 3 days for the bugger to die!

  • damn i hate them things D:<

  • This reminds me of Puerto Rico. About a century ago some idiot proposed to bring mongooses to the island to fight the rat population.

The problem is that mongoose hunt during the day, and rats are nocturnal... so they never met, and now they have rats and wild mongooses.

To make things worst, the mongooses brought rabies (before that the island was rabies free); and they also hunt farm animals.

I guess the only one who got a profit was the jerk that sold the rabies infected pests.

  • I reckon this is going to be the best film about Toads this year.

  • @wowzerinit dude its the only film about toads ever, and its shit.

  • Hey there, is there any way I can buy the soundtrack to the film? I've already got the film, but I'm really interested in getting the audio file (and track information) for the song that plays at the end of the film before the credits roll - it's a soft guitar, drum and bass guitar track. It's so gorgeous and I can't seem to find any information on it. Thanks for the help!

  • ill have to go and see this they are tough buggers thats for sure me and my mates went to litchfield and kakadu last year in that litchfield we went fukn sick ! must have got a 150 of them ! big maglite torch never fails even after you have been on a killing spree with it !

  • so when does the movie come out I want to see it?

also is the guy with the gun named Carl?

  • @TobiusProject Yes, the guy with the gun is named Carl - but he's not really a cane toad killer, we just used him as an actor! The film will be released Australia wide in JUNE this year - check out our facebook page for up to date screening info

  • @canetoadstheconquest
