  • im getting depressed 1-2 days before i notice first symptoms of gut problems, so there is connection for sure.

btw, amoxicilin+gentamycin+clindamycin in one month is killer combo for guts :(

  • thank you for your considerations and video uploading efforts, this is a very informative video, thumbs up!

  • I just wrote a lengthy note to you, but shall have to post it in "pieces," as posts are limited to 400 some characters. But, to begin: As my children grew up and became old enough to make their own decisions, I often said to them "Read your stomach." The decision might be whether or not to buy something. "Read your stomach" meant that if the decision to buy the toy put a pit in your stomach, then you will probably regret it if you do buy the toy.

  • This is really interesting. I take 20mg of lexapro and 15mg of mitrazipine. I want to find a natural alternative. I have thought about 5-htp. Is this a good supplement in your opinion?

Regarding the neurotransmitter test, I want one of those! I can never fully accept that I have a deficiency in serotonin because there has never been any documented proof. If I can get that, I would be soooooo happy! :)

  • You might be, but just don't take 5HTP because you are on an SSRI. I would test through us to see which ones you need, as well to get a protocol that meets YOUR physiological needs. There are too many do's and dont's when weaning off, etc. Talk to your MD about weaning off an give us a call as well so see the cost of the lab and consult.

  • Pain meds create dysbiosis, inflammation and increased prostaglandin response. So, most NT's, etc produced in the gut. So if you have a gut issue or inflammation, then you will have decreased immune system or NT's, which will create decrease motility, etc.

  • Thanks bro! I enjoy giving back what I have learned. Glad you enjoy it!

  • ? if you take pain meds does it block seritonin receptor sitees is that whyy theey cause slower motility?

  • Awesome video man! I'm glad I found your page! Keep up the good work Josh!

  • The Second Brain! That book is in my On Deck circle right now. Can't wait to get to it. Re-reading Rivera's Food Allergy book right now.

Great video. Keep it up, Josh. I read your stuff on the CHEK Forum. I'm trying to work my way up to your level.

  • Thanks bro! Your page popped up one day and gave me the idea to start my YouTube clips. Thanks for being you. The book is good, a bit deep, but read it years ago and want to reread it again. What I learned in CHEK 4 was that we are all at the same level. We might have different certs, etc, but we are all doing what we are supposed to do, at the level we are supposed to being doing it, because we are living our own journey.

  • Took me a sec to figure out GJ, but I got it! Thanks for the support and stay tuned for a lot more good stuff!

  • GJ man
