I would have loved Chris Nolan to win or Darren Aronofsky for The Wrestler...IF they were nominated...and they weren't nor were their films...so Danny Boyle became the obvious choice for me and Slumdog Millionaire :)

Hey Manny! Your magic Oscar ball is working fine! Hopefully it runs on solar power or at least those rechargeable batteries! I am going to save whats left of my grip on reality next year! I will look for your predictions and avoid the Oscars! Yet I must say that waiting for Angie to kick Brad if he stared at Jen was delicious! Meow! Hiss! I know its all made up but it would have been funny to see how many big named stars kept straining their necks to watch them too! To be a fly on THAT wall!

They are not ready to forgive and forget. Yet Mickey should hold his head high! A low budget film among those big budget movies at the Oscars?! AMAZING. The film does not need an award to validate his heartfelt performance. I will gladly suffer through the Oscars next time Mr Rourke. And there will be MANY next times sweetie.

I never watch the Oscars. Boring and full of themselves with embarassing stage shows. Being off work tonight and Mickey was up for an award I am watching it. I suffered through it until the end where Mickey just lost. Sean Penn said a few kind words about Mickey being back. Not a fan but it was classy of him. I think Mickey should have won. I think he was not given the award because its too soon. He has alot of making up to do and left alot of bad feelings when he left the industry.

Your so cute with your devilish little giggle Manny I could pinch your cheeks! The only movie I saw was The Wrestler. The other films were not up my alley of interest or the actors. The Wrestler really made me a Mickey Rourke fan. I think a win would be a sweet revenge. A small budget film with heart and the talent of an actor who wouldnt let The Boys Club shut him out of a chance to act again. Smile at these bandwagon jumpers Mickey! Who fawn over you now. Say a mental F you! For me baby! :)

For best picture im actually predicting benjamin button cause this year feels very reminscent of 1994 when forest gump won. but it can easily go to slumdog millionaire.

For best actor i think it will be mickey rourke but sean penn may also take it.

Actress will probably be kate winslets.

Believe it or not me and my friend have a bet. she Actually think heath ledger will lose....hahaa
