John Butler puts so much emotion and passion into his music. I think that's the thing that i admire most, even beyond his skill in composition. I'd love to know what the exact meaning behind his songs are.

@keithmcgrath7 this song is about his wife having a miscarraige, probably why this is song is so much more emotional than his preachy sorta songs. Easily my favourite song of his.

sounds alot like ocean.. Its in same scale and the base e string is played in the same general pattern i think.

(i havent seen the music, im just guessing based on this video so i might be wrong.)

i think there is no e string cause it's in open tuning, i think it's open c, but yes it's the same scale than ocean (and mist)
