To all the morons wondering why they're holding the car back, its because when u burn out w a fwd car, the amount of torque they start the burn out with will just pull the car around while the rear breaks stay locked up. So the added force from the people keep it from taking off. Try it sometime and figure it out for yourselfs. As a nasty neons member, sick roast, good way to kill the stock rubber and keep the sticky icky for the track.

My dad has one as well, they are pretty fast you can by cars that are faster but they cost quite a bit more. I quess what im trying to say is the car is a good deal. It may be a fwd car but it does have qualitys that redeem it. They make alot of performance parts for it and once you drop even a stage one in it, the car fucking moves. I don't like neons that much either but i do like the srt version

no one is trying to start anything... i was talking about a burnout not getting up to 150... and a stock grand prix shuts down at 109. i have no issues with getting to 150 faster than a grand prix. and an srt-4 will get to 160 before you reach 140. i've tested it with a gtp before so if your gonna say "stop trying to cause trouble" look at what you just said. you doubt an srt-4 can reach 150 before you. thus saying your car was faster. stop acting like you know what your talking about.

The GTP (like mine) shuts down at 126. The 04-05 Comp G shuts down at 142. Mine has a couple small mods, including a new PCM that, among other things, removes the limiter. And don't put words in my mouth. I said it can't get to 150 easier than me, I didn't say I could do it faster.
