  • I liked the way they did and the sound effects on it.

  • Still great looking ^_^

Are you going to make more War of the Worlds animations? :3

  • @reddalek555 I had started to last summer but it is a HUGE time vacuum. Look for my newer WOTW animations in my library.

  • You really have some talent. If you and some other people could make a game like this it would be seriously great. We NEED a game with the 1953 movie style ships! Don't know if anyone else feels the same as me though. AWESOME VIDEO!

  • @IanStarscream I made this 10 years ago... I'm currently trying to completely redo it with a different look. Check out my newest WIP videos of it.

  • very good :)

  • Awsome!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank you

  • lolz, is cool, you could code a game from that animation :P

  • What program did you use to make this?

  • did you get the air-raid siren off a mod called 'blitzkrieg'? for RA2 YR?

  • I made this mostly in the summer of 2000, then added a few more pieces in the fall of 2003.... so the answer is NO.

  • wat programs that animation from

    great vid

  • I wonder if you could do a full version of this animation?

  • noooo

  • And you had such talant too.

    Oh well.

  • Is it just me or do you think with the new wotw movie they stuffed up the opening scene by changing the words spoken by the narrator? I think the original had it down pat and what speilberg replaced it with didnt have nearly the same impact. This is a great vid man, well done!!

  • Definatly

  • The song is the eve of war from jeff wayne's war of the worlds.

  • love the animation. what song is this

  • the songs jeff wanye's eve of war theme

  • that was sooooo awsome! the greatist wotw annimation on youtube ever!! 5 stars!! (6 if i could)

  • I love the use of the 1953 "walkers". I know they're untraditional, but showing the Alien technology evolve from book, to radio and film was a great step to explain that. I grew up with that design. To this day I think that heatray noise is one of the coolest sound F/X ever.

  • Great animation! Only, I hope you don't think I'm pedantic but the radio broadcast was on October 30th 1938, not Hallowe'en 1939. By 1939, WW2 had already started (at least in Europe) and Welles' satirical sweep would have been blunted. Oh, and the serialised version of Wells' original novel came out in Pearson's Magazine from April to December 1897 originally, so technically we met the Martians first in 1897 not 1898. Now, set the Heat Rays on me! :-)

  • Great video, animation is good :)

    >> Forever Autumn << lol :p

  • that was pretty cool...love the animation!,....
