@AlliedWaste76 They are not getting rid of the AW logos here. They will be phased out like the BFI logos. What ever trucks, dumpster and carts have the AW logo will stay until repainted, if needed, or scrapped
Republic always runs some nice trucks and they always look spectacular when they're new... just that perfect blue colour =] Good idea how you can spin the control console around now, the older vehicles had the consoles bolted in a single position hey? Very simple set-up and looking at the button labels, you'd barely need to read the manual to understand what does what :P Awesome shot of the packer from above, always a priceless angle!
Dude, That control panel is f-ing cool!!! So much better than that obtrusive thing they had before with the big chunky rocker switches. We're getting 9 new McNeilus ZRs with that control panel on it. Cant wait! Oh, btw. Oops on the weight ticket....
now when you filmed it compacting was is auto or manual? also i'm used to the pacific series so when I saw the truck with the third axl in the middle and not on the end to me it looked weird. But nice truck glad to see you love your job!
@NYMegaMan Oh that sucks, at least there are a lot of stops without any carts so you do not have to deal with the oddly placed tipper. Hopefully someone asked McNeilus what the heck they were thinking when putting a tipper on the angle lol. The only reason I can think of for why it would be there is so less hopper cycles would be required, as the refuse will be able to spread out more with the tipper on an angle instead of quickly pile up.
