OMG!!! you are discribing my mother 100%. I am the oldest of 7 girls, ever since I stud up to her to let her know that she was very abusive to me, no to mention she slept with my ex-fiance, abandon me wen i need her the most talk lies about my dad to keep us in the shadows . its been hell, I pray to GOD to heal her heart, she doesn't have a relationship with no one that think differnt of her views , I now enjoy a good relationship with my dad and her sisters -my aunts- and they are my moms now..

Thank you so much I've been forgiving getting burned over and over again. I been through way too much hell with my mom. My dad was not around extreme addiction problems. I had to realize I needed to focus on my spirituality. I was at some point afraid that I was doing the wrong thing by cutting myself off from her...but I'm so glad you have inspired me to follow my own gut. I need a break from the abuse, and I'm now going to allow myself to have one =) THANKS!!

she thinks she's the only one who has been through pain and she on her fourth marriage because she thinks you should marry people like tic tacs and divorce them when they are no long fresh and expects me to do the same and i won't so she aint talking to me. i asked her lets just communicate but, she wants to send me facebook letters and not talk like adults. she's always all offended about everything and it is really draining.......so i'm happy i stumbled upon this again because

i've kept this vid in my favorites for almost a year now and when i first saw it i pondered on whether my mom might be toxic.....she didn't beat me, she didnt' abuse me but, she never held me,she never told me she loved me and i brought that into my marriage and recently my husband got in trouble wit the law and she's trying to turn me against him and she's suppose to be saved and i told how i felt about everything and she wants to play the victim and not talk to me

My father was an abusive animal, both verbally and physically, and my mother just buried her head in the sand and chose to ignore the war zone that was the environment I grew up in. I can relate, and I sympathize with you. May the good Lord give you the strength to carry on.

Its true I feel you on all this my family is dysfunctional and I can truly relate to this all the way.Love the message because I am doing well inspite of it all and I have been praying also and I also released it to God.When it comes down to it these things seem to bother us mainly because we don't understand why.Moving forward is necissary or else yo will be stuck going no where.God always shows us that people curse themselves when they try to curse you.And hey they are missing out on you.
