Don't worry, girl, I NEVER did a big chop myself. Just let that relaxer grow out, but make sure you do not manipulate your hair to much because the demarkation line is prone to breakage.

I think you said two weeks? *shrugs* My hair is ear length, when pulled. I am planning to get some braids in the next 1-3 weeks. *Ish excited* Also,I use Organix coconut oil (Self heating). It makes my hair very soft. Even when I have to used a harsh and dying shampoo. (Rarely, when I run out of shampoo.)

I got the coconut oil at walmart. I believe you can also get it at cvs. (But with walmart being cheaper.) I usually put it on while my hair is wet and leave it in.(Sometimes when my hair is dry.) I wanted to ask What kind of hair you use? The cost of the hair? How long you usually leave the braids in? And Were you ever worried about damaging your hair with the braids? That's it...For now. :P
Thanks, I will look for it then. I use the Milky Way 16" superbulk shake and go. I use color #1 which is Jet Black. I think I was $45 a pack (ouch)! I usually go three months unless it's growing really fast & seems like it's trying to gather and matt. This is my 3rd time doing micros. Last time went 2years in a row. Never damaged my hair or worried because I know how to care for my micros. Great questions!

giovanni direct leave in conditioner i think will definitely help with making your hair soft. cheaper alternative to the qhemet biologics. both in my opinion are the best for making your new growth softer and well moisturized for days at a time. good luck in finding what works for you!
