he's fucking a paranoid disilluisionist. only people who use the military as the sole instrument or domestic and foreign policies aren't truely leaders
this is how true leaders speak, he didn't say anything against Zardari because he's current president of Pakistan, and being a patriotic Pakistani he don't want to throw dirt on the politicians of Pakistan... everyone know how much dirt these shameless bastards threw on Musharaff when he was President... shame on those who still don't understand this patriotic Pakistani.
Musharaff knows a lot that he holds back .. you can see that grin on his face... he wants to go ahead and say zardari is incompetent dueche bag and karzai is evil
@sandy3126: The fact is that Musharraf is a clown dictator who shamed the whole nation with the worst terrorism and instability. If an idiot like Zardari can restore stability and stablize Pakistan in under 2 years, it shows you how bad Musharraf was. In the end, Musharraf proved a bad dictator is worse than any politiician. Now Mush hides in London with runaway PM Shortcut Aziz and tries to go on speaking tours to make money but no one want to hear his thickly accented illiterate English!
@01vankirk : hi, I partly agree to you, i have been following the geo politics of the subcontinent for a while. I think today pakistans foriegn and economic policy is run directly or under the stooges of gen kiyani. The reason zardari is there to give a democratic face to the stranglehold of kiyani
@sandy3126 : Kayani is a thorough professional unlike the clown Musharraf. He may control the reins of the military and defence but he understands that state institutions need to evolve and that civilian institutions need to be strengthened. He understand Pakistan's long term future and stability rests with the civilian administration. He is giving them time but at the same time he has restored the professionalism of the Pak military. Look at how the foreign agents and terrorits are on the run
@01vankirk :I disagree ... Kiyani is trying to bring back days of zia... the reason civil society has been made a puppet is to prove democracy as a failed concept in pakistan... Military should be responsible for security from foreign threat and not involved in internal policy matters .. i dont recall this concept being alive in pakistan in last 5 decades... this whole security state concept is messed up. Kiyani is directly responsible
@sandy3126: Are you speaking for Kayani because his public statements show that he is a firm believer in the institutions of Pakistan. He has championed the return to professionalism of the Pak miltiary after the clown Musharraf debased it by involving the miltiary in civilian administration. Kayani is on record for saying that Pak military should concern itself with sovereign external threats- his actions speak louder than any conjecture from you and me. If anything, institutions are developing
@sandy3126: No the air strikes started when Musharraf was in charge- at that time, there was no intel sharing. Now there are continued strikes but with Pak intel input too. Pakistan is now integrated with Western forces fighting the foreign inspired agents and criminals. The Pak miltiary has done a great job of restoring order and stability after kicking out the criminals who flourished under a weak dictator like Musharraf. Ironically a democracy is stronger than a dictatorship we see!
where is US policy going............. i have seen so many interviews.......but not a single word about Economy, creating jobs, building trade roads..........
that tells ya ...... about the future US policy and where they are heading atleast as far as pakistan and afghanistan is concern........
only one choice open to pakistan........ sign a bilateral Trade agreement with Russia...
Pakistan is the centre of terrorism, sort out Pakistan and the rest will live in civil society and peace. This Besharaf and the entire Paki ISI and Aramy =Army supported Taliban and Al qayeda openly the minute USA came to our part of the world, This bastard as well as all the paki rats turned against Taliban, However they still suport Taliban indirectly. pakis are like dirty snakes, they must be sorted out
He is honest, brave and stateforward person .He is a true Pakistani.I wish He comes back as President and take out the country from all the troube faced by Pakistan. Long Live Pakistan
Thanks to Musharraf for answering the questions the the honest and right way. World must realize that Pakistan IS the country that it trying the most and the best in the fight against terrorism and it should support and encourage it instead of having doubts in ISI or the Army - which as Mushy said, are THE most capable and disciplined organizations of Pakistan and certainly in the world.
OK, there is a portion of this interview missing and I can't find it on any of the Youtube postings here. When I watched this interview on CNN, there was a section where Musharraf commented on George W. Bush and Obama. He basically displayed cautious optimism for Obama and said he respected George W. Bush for being a straight talker and not double-dealing on him. I can't find this part on Youtube though.
Spoken like a true man! Musahrraf faced some very tough questions and handled them like a champ. Pakistan is under attack on many fronts and we must not trust USA as well. I pray for it , Pakistan Zindabad.
Musharraf is the manof courage, honour, dignity and vision. A true patriotic leader with honesty and pride. Lonf live Musharraf. Long Live Pakistan. Long live Pakistan armed forces.
musharraf is a true leader with true leadership qualities. he has class and never have i seen an interview of his where he downgrades current pakistan governments, even though i'm sure he differs from them in certain thoughts. thats a mark of true character and nationalistic pride.
