I think this is just a layer of the cloud that is denser, and therefore darker.....you can see the lightening too, so Id say its about ready to storm, and soon the whole cloud will get dark and become a storm cloud......it is simply that this small layer is getting there a bit quicker than the rest of the cloud.....certainly odd, but not paranormaly so!
