I first wanted to buy an Atom and had a ride in it. A mindblowing car with better acceleration then the X-Bow. BUT: no safety, no service, no warranty. I upgraded my KTM from 240 to 325 BHP. Now the acceleration is ok (3,6 to 100 km/h), i´m driving in a safe ca with service and warranty. :)
@xbowracing i see.. thats interesting , but how is x-bow more safe than ariel ? they look to me pretty much the same in this manner. no service for ariel ? wtf ? ..no WARRANTY ? what do you mean by that lol like when it breaks 1 month after you bought it they dont give a shit ? lol ..also is it even legal ? in slovakia everything you buy , doesn't mater what it is , shoes, electronic or car gets 2 years warranty . its a law. ..some car sellers gives you even 5 year warranty. hmm.
X-Bow: carbonfiber-monocoque like in F1. Ariel: some steel. So in your opinion F1 cars would be also safe with a chassis like the Atom has? Think about it. In Germany we also have a warranty-law, but the german Ariel-dealer told me, that HE HIMSELF would have to give this warranty because Ariel doesn't. He didn't want to do that and so he founded a LTD in UK to import Ariels without warranty to germany. And yes: they don't give a shit, if your car brakes down a month after buying it.

@xbowracing Ok,, I was wandering because my 2010 RC8R rear brakes squeak also. I think its the rotor getting to hot, they seem to do it when I use them more in the city. Your Rotors are probably carbon so its a totally different issue then my brakes... I love the car, I wonder if they will ever reach the U.S.?
KTM says the X-Bow will not be sold in the U.S. because AUDI said "No" for some reasons... As far as i know there are 2-3 X-Bows in the U.S., but they are imported privatly and only used on racetracks because they are not street legal over there.
Bislang war das noch kein Thema. Das kann man ja auch relativ einfach beseitigen, man muss nur die Kanten der Bremsbeläge ein wenig bearbeiten. Hatte ich bei den originalen Ferrodo-Belägen mal gemacht, dann war das Quitschen fast vollständig weg. Jetzt hab ich unbehandelte Pagid-Beläge mit höherem Reibwert drauf. Die quitschen halt in kaltem Zustand, sind auf der Rennstrecke aber super. Manchmal sind quitschende Bremsen aber auch ganz nützlich und schonen die Hupe... :-D
@xbowracing Du fährst einen Sportwagen, der auch noch orange ist. Offensichtlich bist du ein Raser, Rowdy und generell böse! Und magst keine Hundewelpen. Jedenfalls denken so die Cops ;)

Thanks. The brakes are fine. Racing brake pads need high temperature to work without noises.
