But there's a problem. I downloaded the demo off of the website. it says the demo needs 2.0 GB of Hard Drive Space. My Hard Drive only holds 1.8 GB. and thats just the demo, the full game needs:

120GB!! Thats ridiculous. The demo for me is very laggy and slow, the sound is crap(,maybe it's our crappy soundcard!) and our Graphic card can't be upgraded anymore for this computer!! Grrr.....

That means you either need to get shader model 3.0, which I believe comes with Windows XP, or you need a better graphics card?

That would mean your card probably doesn't support Shader Model 3.0. You'd have to buy a new card.

shader model 3.0 is a hardware function. Its not a software that can be just downloaded or be fixed. If your video card is below geforce 6 or radeon x1000 series then you need to buy a shader model 3 capable card.

same happened to me. I cleared some Hard Drive Space by Removing big programs. then run a Disk Clean. then defragment it. but it still sometimes runs slow.

i got my demo at a website mofunzone. I recomend it to u. Go to download games and then there u could find lots of demos.

its all ready to use a 360 pad , even in the menus u see 360 buttons. most new games do it now. good for dracing games though.

just 1024x768 boss, monitor max lol (old) i recorded it using FRAPS @ 35FPS framerate lock to lessen the file size and minimize variable framerate.

physics and handling being crappy depends on the person.What particluar codemasters game? Anyway, In my case, i would play the game just like how i would play the likes of GTR2, Live for Speed or rFactor. If you use a keyboard with this game, yer not gonna like it.

Sadly none(if this is more like a sim, perhaps they could have added it like in GTR2 and LFS), but my dual analog gamepad works pretty well with it, i can finely control the steering braking and acceleration.

Ah yes, the awesome G25, some users still have issues with it though along with the Logitech Momo, but some made it work well, you just need to configure it well i guess. The game is really made to use the X360 controller as it auto configures itself when it detects a X360 pad.

Are you able to use the Analog Sticks with your Logitech RumblePad2?? If so, how? I'm only able to use the DPad... which is worse then the KeyBoard.

you can always remap it in the control options, but if you want a pre defined support for Logitech RumblePad2, download the patch 1.1 (and mebbe the 1.2 too)

I've tried the game now. It's basically just a gimmicky game for 10-year-olds kinda like I expected.

True. The scary part is that Codemasters now has the official F1 license. :(

Maybe they'll include 'flashback' and drifting in their upcoming F1 games. :sigh:

I still like the game though, feels like arcady sim to me hehe, thats why i bought it. But making the F1 game to be mixed is not good indeed. I love the previous F1 sims years ago (the one made by EA, when they are still "decent" as well as Grand Prix 4)

And the graphics may be "brownish" again lol like in this game (its one of the bad points imo)

its variable. The recording is locked at 35FPS but it can usually run at around ~30-60FPS
