Since the entrance to the dungeon is underwater, yeah it is only blue pikmin. BUT: about 2 or 3 floors in, you get bulbmin, and on the last floor, you get purples to fight the waterwraith. The reason that Submerged Castle is only for blue pikmin is because they don't want you killing the waterwraith before the final floor.

its impossible to get into Submerged Castle with all pikmin EXCEPT blue pikmin. i am saying this because you enter and land on water. the only pikmin you can exit with ar Blue, White (probalby 5 or 0, i forget), and around 15 purple. the Purple are needed to take out the Waterwraith Boss in there.

Uhh kid, you are not smart at all. You could've put 80 Pikmin under Olimar's control (no Blue Pikmin) then the 20 others with Louie then you can get in but as soon you enter the Submerged Castle, your Pikmin will drown due to the pond of water that's on the first Sublevel you land on..

That's not what happens. Only the pikmin under the leading captain's control will enter a cave. Pikmin under control of an idle captain will enter their onions/ship if you enter a cave.

Also, even if you enter the cave with non-blues under your leading captain's control, the game completely ignores the non-blues and only blues would go into the cave, so no pikmin would drown.

You can't get into it no matter what. The game is PROGRAMMED not to let any others go in.
