  • Wouldn't painting over the pickup covers affect the tone?

  • @pmanderson Everything effects tone to some degree, but painting on plastic (or metal) pickup covers would be an extremely minimal effect, possibly not even noticable / audible without analysis equipment!

  • @EternalDescent Ok, thanks for the answer.

  • I tell you what i like, you tell me if its possible,i pay you and send you my guitar, you paint it and send it back.

    Is this how it works?

  • @gianniswildchild spot on mate ;)

  • how much would that cost:L

  • @Super007ryan Email me for a quote mate svee@sveeart.com ;)

  • where can i find some where to put an image on an ESP guitar

  • I want something like this painted on my guitar, do you know if they will paint a guitar you send them and how much it would cost?

  • wow!

  • AWESOME!, THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY.

  • what is that cutout stuff you used to paint over.

  • SEXY GUITAR BRO =DDDDDDDD!!!

  • how much does it cost to do a custom shop esp?

  • thats a beautiful guitar love the artwork

  • wait but when they do other custom shop guitars with emg or sd black outs do they paint over the pickup or do they cover it aswell

  • @CrushedJustice Although i did these for ESP, I dont work for the ESP custom shop (im freelance) but when i do pickups i paint them, same as the guitar.

  • @CrushedJustice They'll do whatever the customer prefers ;)

  • @EternalDescent I WANT BEYONC'E PAINTED ON MINES! LOL

  • Wonder how much that'd go for...

  • the background music is awesome! and yeah the paint job too!

  • that looks badass!! cheers guys nice vid

  • one word WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW

  • does anyone know what kind of paint this guy is using ?

  • @zacyboyZ Im using Auto air water-based airbrush paints in this vid mate ;)

  • @zacyboyZ Im using Auto Air water-based airbrush paints mate ;)

  • Great Job!

  • Awesome job man!

  • I want that :')

  • thats one sexy guitar

  • excellent..nice concept that you have with your art, comics and music, superb artistry....you are the man!! Hammerstein!

  • as the name of this melody?

  • Nice!! Does anyone know anyone who does that kind of work in london, for a reasonable price?

  • WOW

  • plz.plz.plz. do not take this as offensive. but it would look way cooler vid if you did it freehand....you should check out the super micron brush

  • @Drokthemetalband No offence taken at all mate. I would love a micron but i dont have a few hundred £££ to spend on one :(

Even with a micron you wouldnt get the sharp crisp lines that you get with the pen unless you used freehand sheilds and on an image with as much inking as this had it would just take forever and i only had a month to do it. Black pen was the best way to go for this one :)

  • If you take somthing like that from a comic book, will you get in trouble because of the copyright? I am wanting to use a comic book character, but i dnt want to violate their copy right.

  • @MsBioGeek so long as you dont sell it or pass it off as your character you should be fine dude

  • @MsBioGeek Exactly, as long as you dont sell it, mass produce it or claim it to be your own design then you should be ok. I always like to ask the copyright owner wherever possible though. In this case Llexi Leon (the guy who supplied me the artwork to work from) is also the guy behind the comic/band and holds the copyright so there were no problems.

  • no but I heard that if you draw a spiderman on your notebook, stan lee will come and rape you in the ass ,because of the copyright!.............

  • yes but this guitar is for the band eternal descent ....and its their own comic book

  • oh god just left a dmarzio x2n and tone zone, amazing i wanna learn to make this works, if i could work making guitars i would be happier but i would need to travel to japan where i can get a lot of material for luthiers

  • @ElectricNeoclassism

not really. there are lots of sites in canada and the us that supply luthiers with top quality woods and materials. if you want as well look into luthier schools. you can learn a lot from the schools, as well as become licensed, further opening the horizon for more possibilities.

  • im in the same business, good quality work mate, well done

  • how much would something like this cost to be done?

  • oh wow, well done

  • Comment removed

  • my dream profession whould be making, testing, repairing and playing guitars all day

  • amazing!

  • Omg, the guitar clip that repeats through the vid is a couple bars from Carlo Domeniconi's "Koyunbaba" :D

  • awesome!!!!! also the music!!!! great!!!!!

  • Beautiful!

  • Svee mate, you have got professional skill when it comes to this. 5/5

  • thank you mate ;)

  • so beautiful, i wish i had the patience or the confidence to do something like that

  • how long did that take?

  • Took me aprox 200 hours start to finish mate (including strip down, prep work, lacquering, polishing and rebuild).

  • crap he can do that fast

  • thats badass

  • this is art

  • Damn. That guy is a beast with an airbrush.

  • lol, thanks mate ;)

  • @mrbones410 ESP is quality all the way. I'm saving up for a custom ESP, having my own design on their too. Nice to see them at work here.

  • @Blitzbok Im freelance mate. Although i did these for the ESP custom shop, i dont work for them ;)

  • Why thank you sir ;)

  • its chapper's guitar

  • hehe nope, this one is Llexi's. Robs was the other one lol ;)

  • exelent saludos desde buenos aires argentina

  • hey,

where can i get some plastic pickup covers

    please reply

    thanks in advance

  • Ebay would prob be your best bet mate.

  • absolutely beautiful.

  • Amazing. Pretty labour intensive, you gotta love good craftsmanship.

  • Outstanding :D

  • do you do the clear coat or sombody else? if not you, why not?

  • I dont currently do my own clearing but that is all about to change mate. I used to do my own years ago but it was too time consuming with my ever-increasing work load.

Another reason i got someone else to do it is because 2K clear is nasty stuff. You need a propper spray booth with the right air extraction/heat and you also the right breathing equipment. You dont want that stuff in your lungs at all.

  • Fascinating. Great result

  • Svee is so pro. this is so nice.

  • So if the pickups aren't actives like EMGs or SD Blackouts, then what are they?

  • ESP Custom Labs. Same as you'll find in Japanese Custom Shop Horizons / Potbellys.

  • @EternalDescent those must be really nice, do you know if they are for sale anywhere?

  • @JerkyChid and esp incase you didnt know origonally made guitar parts so there custom shop stock pickups are actually really good

  • Wow, you made me look all profeskinol and stuff guys lol.

    Great stuff :)

    Whats the backing music Llexi???

  • Heh, not hard to make your work look good mate! Backing music is just some ambient tune i started working on, one of a couple dozens incomplete tracks lying around on my workstation!

  • hey, did this dude also paint robs eclipse?

  • I did an Ltd mhb400 baritone yeah :)

  • Indeed! A great job on the baritone too! The Eclipse was done by another dude, Bill @ Eaco Designs.

  • thats pretty sweet man, how about you do some reviews eh?(I'm canadian don't ask lmfao: :P)

  • that is SO awesome o_O
