The story is watered down for the drooling mouth breathers with controllers. And the upgrades and designs look pretty lazy and uninovative.

Boss fights have potential, but i expect them to be less strategy and unit management and more "stand in blue circle while you shoot".

Designing based on market research is fucking up most games nowadays. On the bright side it brings in more cash to produce more crap.

Expect average, plain and repetitive games in the future, ideal for the average gamer.

HoMM3 is the best, we all know that, and I got all parts installed and never will delete any. I got computer that can run all of Heroes. But time goes on, and I like the new heroes games, no matter how different (or worse) from 3rd they are, for me, they are fun and interesting. And if you want just to play 3rd, than download fan created content (even expansions), or try somehow converting to new engine, dont expect from studio to do that, they need to earn from new games, not corpses.
