  • just bought this yesterday in a 18" model. sounds soooooo beautiful!!!!!! nice warm tones, short decay, and it still has cut. I LOVE THIS CYMBAL!

  • HHX is the only line of bright cymbals i will ever buy. This is defo replacing my PST5 crash when it cracks :D

  • @iiXxBeAStlYxX u mean aax?

  • Hi Pee Wee can you tell your mgmt to let you play all the cymbals here on Youtube? I already bought 2 cymbals based on your playing. You hit the cymbals like the way they are supposed to be hit. That is the only way I can see if it is worth purchasing. In most music stores they don' t let you hit the cymbals to test the sound,so thank you.

  • I never understood the point of buying new Cymbals? Its either cracked, bent, or keyholed. There is nothing else that could go wrong.

  • I own this cymbal, seriously my favorite crash i've ever owned. Really dark tone. I recommend it to anyone looking for a darker toned cymbal.

  • @FoxandthePound

It only depends on what you want.

  • because it is a fast crash, does this mean it is a thinner therefore, less durable cymbal?

  • wow sounds really nice

  • I really wanna know if AAX x-plosion fast crash cymbals are durable cause I heard that it is extra thin so it will be great if somebody with experience could tell me.

  • @zombiepaki94 I've had two of these fast crashes, 18" and 19", for about 6 months and have not broken them. I feel this is especially awesome because I play very hard as I am in hardcore and grindcore bands. The thing is, you have to use a proper technique while hitting them. I'm not sure if you've heard of these, but you basically hit at an arc, like hitting away from the cymbal when you make contact. The drummer in this video does it, but I usually hit to the side even more than he.

  • is this thinner than the aax x-plosion one? (there's not the same size to make a comparison)...and anyway are these cymbals easy to break for an hard hitter like me? Thanks

  • got the 18" X-plosion fast crash 2 days ago, the crash is better then any i heard, it has an amazing sounding bow and an even better soundoung unlathed bell, I absolutely love it, and it if cracks i will get another one.

  • dude thats what im talkin about a cymbal demo!!! i hate when people in videos just eff around while they show ther cymbol. This dude just wrecked all cymbal demo-ers on youtube!

  • Is there any difference between the Xplosion fast crash and the regular Xplosion crash??

  • @jjbb20 When crash is labeled as "fast" it usually means it has a quicker decay.

  • @memphisdrumshop Do you think this cymbal would be too loud for jazz?

  • @memphisdrumshop isnt the fast crash thinner too?

  • @GodsmackLoverOracle

yes its super thin, therefore its got a super quick decay and the response is superdy duperdy fast. you can like tap this thing with your finger and you can get it to crash

  • @jjbb20 the xplosion fast crash is super thin the regular x plosion is just average but because the xplosion fast is so thin its got a quicker decay

  • @jjbb20 I have tested that difference before, and Fast crashes have a much better and easy build since they are thinner.

  • @jjbb20 fast means its thinner. so, it will have a shorter decay
