I just got the Mandrake volumes in the mail today, and I absolutely love all of it! Really amazing, it's obvious he was in his own musical world as early as the 70's.
Still, I don't think each CD (with 4 tracks each) was really worth the large price tag, albeit most tracks are over 10 minutes long.

しかし平沢とマンドレイクメンバー達の本当にすごいことはここから「美術館であった人だろ」にひっくり返れたことかも。
80年代前半から既にプログレはもうだめだって言ってましたし。いやはやすごいお人です。

マンドレイク、歌詞はやっぱり初期Pみたいな若々しくて挑発的なのが多いのかなって思ってた。
そしたら意外にも最近の平沢ソロみたいな重厚で隠喩に満ちてる歌詞だった。
知れば知るほど謎が深まる。分からない・・・平沢さんが全くわからない。
