@rusher38 You do not have to remove the entire gearbox to change the piston. Remove upper receiver, remove upper gearbox, change piston, put back together. I can change a piston in this gun in under 5 minutes.

@crazyNCman I tried that actually, but I couldn't fit a screwdriver into it to get the screws out easy enough so I just pulled the whole thing out and it took me about 30 min to do the whole job (box split, pull apart upper, swap internals, reassemble)

i have the army L85 and ive had it for a while and my hop up isnt working. the little thingy that pushes the bucking up isnt moving up far enough by the gears to push on the bucking. do you have any idea how i could fix this or could i just replace the whole hop up with an m16s?

i dont know if you know but have a look for a l85 multitool that is designed to work with the gun it has a screwdriver for removing the hand grip and it fits in the pistol grip

by the way get a l85 tree point sling and if you set it up right its great

Can you use a 9,6 volt battery? if yes, how many MAH's can it have?

You have to change the spring to use a 9.6v. Mah doesn't matter use whatever you want.

My gun wont fire at all. I checked and there is no rounds stuck in the gears or anywhere in the gun where they are not suppose to be. The day this happened i had charged it all night and the previous day and when i pulled the trigger with the safety off it wont fire. All i get when i pull the trigger is a noise just below the spot where the bolt rocks back and forth on the right side of the gun. I know its not the fuse in the battery. I replaced that and Im getting sad not playing with it.

If you charged the battery all night it is probably cooked. You only charge that battery for about 6-7 hours.

im having a problem disassembling the gun, i pull the pin out and push the top of the gun forward but it wont come out, it just stays jamed but does open a little, but its still stuck to the lower part of the lower part of the gun and wont come out, what am i doing wong?

Open the bolt and lock it open. Sometimes you have to hit the carry handle with your hand to get the top section to slide off.

You can use the lever on the side to disable or open it up and take the thing off the top of the gearbox.

I pushed the clip out but the barrel still wont come out. But i did see that the flash hider is glued on to the outer barrel in addition to being screwed on, I think some of the glue might of also gotten the inner barrel stuck to the outer barrel's end
