hitwalker, sorry but you're wrong. Probably the first singles was sung by Dora Carofiglio (Novecento). But the album "The legend", containing the hits "King Arthur" and "Lancelot", so as "The magic rain" was sung by Monica Stucchi (the same person you can see performing from the beginning of Valerie's career), but written by zanini/tansini.
