  • i go to byu. i'll try to be more cautious about my screaming haha. unlv is always a tough team to play btw. is lon kruger still there?

  • Yeah BYU really sucks. Did anybody watch both BYU UNLV games this year?

  • @gregoriasofyork LOLUMAD?

  • Where could you find more clips to this game? Me and some friends of mine (along with maybe....50 other Rebel fans) were actually at this game, reppin the Rebels. I want to see if you could actually hear any of our chants on the televised game. We got some cheers going.

BTW, "girly" or not, those Cougar fans are fucking loud! I'll give them credit on that. Our fans could learn a thing or two from them, we definitely need to get louder.

    Also: Rene Rougeau owns all.

  • BYU Fan Base

    16% Male Sports fans

    1% Female Sports fans

    24% Pregnant women (wives)

    59% Kids under 16 (children)

    There is your "girlish screams"

Ask any BYU fan they will admit their fan base is mostly kids, their kids. The reason for the 4% difference in the wives is simple, polygamy. Don't deny it Zoobs, you know it's still around. Might not be practiced, but it's still a part of you.

  • @Tyehao

How can polygamy still be around if it isn't practiced? What a stupid comment.

  • @supertankification You know as well as I do that the LDS church, under federal pressure, disavowed polygamy 120 years ago. There are still a portion of the LDS faith who follow Joseph Smiths polygamy standards. He was reported to have over 50 wives. 158 years ago the church recognized polygamy as a central Mormon belief.

Although it's not practiced, many faithful still adhere to the original doctrine which includes polygamy. If you don't believe me then you don't live in Utah.

  • @Tyehao Here's my point: You stated that it is NOT practiced, and that people ADHERE to it. You stated it's NOT practiced but it's still around. My comment has nothing to do with polygamy and everything to do with you contradicting yourself. How can something like polygamy exist if nobody is practicing it?

For the record, I do live in Utah, there are people that DO practice polygamy, though not members of the LDS church, and certainly not members of the BYU student body.

  • @supertankification My original comment was focused on the fact that the LDS church does not practice polygamy but there are those who do practice it still who consider themselves BYU fans. I understand your point and I was vague, sorry for that.

To say that no BYU student body members support polygamy is ignorant. There are FLDS members enrolled at BYU who grew up believing original LDS doctrine and still adhere to those teachings.

  • @Tyehao THAT IS COMPLETELY FALSE YOU IGNORANT MORON. NO MEMBER OF THE LDS CHURCH PRACTICES POLYGAMY, IF THEY DO THEY GET EXCOMMUNICATED AND ARE NO LONGER MEMBERS.

    YOU ARE AN ANTI-MORMON TROLL.

  • @jamesgresley No longer members from excommunication is different from following the original doctrine. There are thousands of people in Utah who consider themselves Mormon who practice polygamy. Just because the church changed their mind doesn't change their belief. Technically if they're caught they are excommunicated, you're correct but many go under the radar and still practice polygamy. And I'm not an "Anti-Mormon Troll" all of my best friends are Mormon.

  • Very nice.
